May his dear soul rest in peace. I had great respect for Kenneth Kaunda. He had great respect for humanity, I was deeply touched when he wept at Joshua Nyongolo's Mqabuko Nkomo's death - true "Son of the Soil"

Africa has lost a kind-hearted, generous, courageous and dedicated. His practical desire to see other African countries get liberated from colonialism and apartheid clearly portrays how selfless a leader he was. Indeed he will be remembered as a true African hero and Pan-Africanist. May his spirit of Humanism live forever.

I am 100% sure that people that love to generalize people are not very smart. your name sounds east African..if a group of people from your country started stealing, would that mean you're all thieves?🤔. We Zambians and the whole of southern Africa lost a great leader, you come here spewing negativity and generalizing a population of people 🙄.

He was no Democrat. His was a one-party state and he locked a number of his opponents in jail. Zambia had major economic problems during his rule. I happened to visit there in 1985 and his neglect of the Zambian economy was readily apparent.

Totally non factual he was a democrat and those that he arrested had attempted to overthrow him and none of them served their full sentences he pardoned them he called for an early election and left power when he lost .So please explain how wasn’t a democrat?

OH please I'm Zambian, our nation owned all it's natural resources under Dr. Kaunda. Now our country is owned by "foreign investors." He may not have been your favourite for his anti-Western anti-European policies, but he was a great African liberator.

If he neglected Zambia at any point, at least it was not for personal and selfish reason. It's was a sacrifice to liberate our neighbors and Africa in general. Westerners don't like strong and articulate Africans like the likes of KK and his comrades. RIP KK. We love and appreciate you and your works which will be talked about for many decades..
