I can't believe you haven't played it with UEVR before, lol. This is the first game I tried with it. I specifically bought it after UEVR came out. While you dont have to have mods, some of them do make the experience much better. I use a voice mode to speak the spell names, and they are cast, which is insanely immersive. The other thing you can try is UEVR lets you switch UI on and off and go from 1st person to 3rd person with button binds. I added the buttons on Voice Attack, and I can switch with voice command. I prefer to explore the game in 1st person but do fights in 3rd person. Not only are they easier, but also, I like 3rd person fight in VR. It reminds me of Moss 1 and 2.
If the devs don't make a native VR version of this, they're just missing a trick. It's a game (or at least concept) that lends perfectly to VR. Hello mate your obviously very familiar with tweaking UEVR profiles etc, would you maybe consider sharing profiles you make for your videos? I'd love to give this first person one a go for a start! Cheers.
there is already a way to get to Azkaban in the base game itself, you have to be in Hufflepuff and you should get a mission in their common room on completion of the given quest line, you will get a cut scene where you Apperate directly into Azkaban Prison with a woman, trying to rescue someone who was truly innocent yet in her time in Azkaban the woman who was innocent had been driven insane and attacked the woman who brought you there, oh forgot to mention its the only time you see the spell Expecto Patronum charm.
Mod creators should create a mod where you can cast three or four spells using your own hand movements, like waving your wand in the air to cast Lumos.
And to do your magic, take your wand out of your pocket and in. I just missed the button in the normal game to put your wand in and out of your pocket. 😂
When you enter the modding scene. You will always encounter the group of people saying you need 50+ mods to make a game good. You have regular gamers who just either wants some extra QoL mods or maybe an entire new experience with a game. And then you have the constant modders. Just a gut feeling 😂
This looks incredible, kind of want a proper wand with it. If someone could make a system where you say the spell and it happens with a wand, that would be incredible!
Even without VR I think Hogwarts Legacy is one of the most beautiful games ever made. I really hope they will release proper story based sequel and improve performance (especially CPU and RAM utilization) and graphics even further thanks to unreal engine 5 new technology.
The Fact that he played 35 hours, liked it and then forgot about it is what i like about the Game. It's one of the Games you're actually supposed to finish.
Developers just absolutely asleep on what we want to play it's insane!! There should be a VR Hogwarts game that you can play online and then take those skills you learned at home into the real world, accessing the AR functions of the headset and continue playing with other players on the street having duels etc. Not only can you explore the Hogwarts map, you can also take different travel methods to other schools around the world and learn very specific and obscure forms of magic from their culture of school. You can travel by train, port key, floo powder, dasapparation assuming you've mastered it.... The possibilities are endless and it could truly be the one stop shop for the immersive Wizarding World. They could sell wands that work in the game as well as the parks and buying certain wands carry unique powers and effects in game. In addition, there would be an online store. It's not hard people! Just decide to be amazing!
Daydreaming thought while studying XR dev: HL and HP fans seriously need a team of dedicated HP fans such as the people working on all the mods and tech specialists with a focus on the users getting the most out of the alt universe and keep making better games like this. AR and VR experiences too could use an update, could be a lot of fun to be had. A universe - mesh filter of the two worlds once the tech improves. I'm in UX and UI design working on my XR dev certifications, and who knows, maybe it'll be in the cards someday to work on such a project for portkey games. Online classes can suck but meeting up in a Virtual space like Hogwarts for classes could make it a lot better if life had to go that way. Other Virtual variants for non-HP fans to help lower the number of trolls. Paired with AR classes for outdoor hangouts and lessons would be fun too. A Lovely addition to Portkey games products or services.
They should make a Harry Potter VR game, i mean, this is basically one of those worlds that would work magnificently in VR, spells with voice, exploration etc, i mean wow
@@xPand0rumx graphics isn’t everything, in Vr i gonna be honest, it almost doesn’t matter, what matter is the experience, the quest 3 can handle Asgard’s Wrath 2, it could handle an harry potter game based in hogwards, not with this graphics, but with a far better gameplay
You were never able to attack people in the game, NPCs have always been invincible. I think you may be thinking of one of the older Harry Potter games where Harry could pick fights with people in the halls.
this game is a prime example on how Devs lower the difficulties so everyone can play it, there is no challenge to beating this & it plays more like a nancy drew book mixed with where's Waldo
hey beardo i remembered you mentioning that you wish they had a quidditch dlc , heres a new game you might not have heard of yet called Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions !
It would be awesome if they implement a way to have customise the UI elements. For instance only having the combat UI display when you come across enemies. And in this game you don't really need the mini map since you can press up on the d-pad which brings up the magic path leading you to whichever quest you are on.
This is what people want, not glorified tech demos but actual fully playable games in VR.

This looks incredible, kind of want a proper wand with it. If someone could make a system where you say the spell and it happens with a wand, that would be incredible!
People that say third person is better are completely silent when stuff like this comes along.
I'm playing it now, I'm amazed by all the details that have been put in. I think my next project will be Hogwarts itself ❤
This would absolutely make me finish the game if it had VR support. Common Sony please!
What does Sony have to do with this?
@@Eskoxonot just Sony. Common Sony no less. Sonys lager swilling cousin.
Ghost of Tsushima would be so cool to play in vr
you have me hooked i will watch your shwo from now on .
If only. If only you could use hand movements for spells. Exactly what what hogwarts in VR needs to
This looks amazing! Can you play through the full game like this?
I have not fully dialed in the settings but LOVED seeing that world in full scale VR. Screw missions, just tour
This is insane.
I've never watched the movies, this makes me want too now...
They're really great. I think you get more sucked in as a kid because everything amazes you but they're still really great non the less
I was okay till you got to the spiders. That made me duck and dodge and jerk away from my laptop. lmao. I was like "oooh! Oh! Oh no! Ick!" 🤣
They should make a Harry Potter VR game, i mean, this is basically one of those worlds that would work magnificently in VR, spells with voice, exploration etc, i mean wow
I think the problem is distribution, how many people could play this, not everyone have a 4090.
This reminds me of the VR experiences at the New York Harry Potter store. They were amazing!!
Lol his inner child really came out ,even in his voice when said "weeeee" 😂 good for you bro enjoy the little things!
Didn't know could play in VR. So excited to start!
hey beardo i remembered you mentioning that you wish they had a quidditch dlc , heres a new game you might not have heard of yet called Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions !
Liviosa Professor Garlic. Love it!
for the first time ever. I can now justify a VR headset.
I can't believe you're able to run this in VR. It's a seriously system taxing game in 2D!
i beat the game in vr thanks to the luke ross mod a while ago. it was a awesome experience!
Me too, I was blown away. So much love put into this game. Looks like uevr might be even better.
This would make that Harry Potter game worth playing.
Its already worth playing. It's a good game even if you aren't a Potter megafan.
Once we can do VR with photorealistic games, I'm probably just going to quit life and do that.
Would like to see more, and would like to try it on my main character. Awesome video. Please show more.
please do more of this!
Wow! Brilliant!❤😮✨😍 “You’re a wizard, Benjo…”😄
This is a dream come true… They need to package this bad boy up and sell it. It would sell like absolute hotcakes.
If there was a mod that made this have full motion controller support as well, then this would be absolutely VR perfect!
It would be awesome if they implement a way to have customise the UI elements. For instance only having the combat UI display when you come across enemies. And in this game you don't really need the mini map since you can press up on the d-pad which brings up the magic path leading you to whichever quest you are on.
