It’s a 89.00 buck mower that ran for 30 years, bought 4 new every year for 18 years of mowing yards Still got all of them and they will still run just don’t need them, so I fix 2/3 every year and sale
This helps a lot I've got a 22 inch Murray with an engine on it that is missing a lot of parts now I can tell it's a Tecumseh engine because it looks similar to yours; except it's the 3.8HP
I bought this exact lawn mower 40 years ago and I never had any issue with it I never changed the plug or the air filter I change oil few times and it will start with first pull .I think it will last 20 more years.
This is my type of mower. Simple and lightweight. Probably a 94-97 model. I want to like Honda but most are either too far gone or $700 in my area. These older Murrays are interesting.
I just got a free Murray push mower yesterday I’m actually surprised it turn over with all that water lol 😂 actually the deck in that thing is still decent
Disconnecting the linkage is a very important part and your hand was hiding it from the camera, that was the only information I needed and never got to see it, same thing when reconnecting them! You have many talents but, teaching is not one of them!
Just whip out your cell phone camera and take a before picture of the linkage. Just remember - not everything is handed to you on these videos. Well done on that no-longer-made-Tecumseh. I just finished working on one yesterday - a little higher on the food chain with a catcher bag, choke and throttle --- and --- self propelled. 😊
I have never cleaned a carburetor before. Thanks for the video.
Glad to help. Thank you for watching.

With just a little bit of care it probably will. Thank you for watching

They are stone simple and work well.

I think most of the water was in the muffler. Thanks for watching.

Calm down psycho.
My approach to your Tecumseh find would have been different. BUT I am WELL aware how careless and wasteful lot of people are with their investments.
Thank you for watching.
Bad gasoline man, I recommend the SUNOCO non ethanol pump gas ⛽
Good chance. I fight fuel problems all the time. Thank you for watching.
