If I use the Vallejo Model air colors they already come thinned for the airbrush. If I use game color I do thin them. Either with airbrush thinner or just with water if I use a paint brush
look great but still looks 3d, less color is better, and no blending colors, that is the whole purpose of cell shade. base, highlight, underlight,shadow

What was the material you use for masking?
Masking putty. I have a dedicated video about masking where I show that in more detail!

Touch up his chin and face lines. Then it's perfect
