I think this might actually be my favourite project you've done. I absolutely adore how it looks like a fisheye lens from a distance, then slowly shifts into correct perspective as you move closer. Really magical!
Honestly Jazza, you should open an art museum with all the painting and projects you've done over the years, I bet a lot of people would come to see it, who knows, maybe even some international fans would come and see your works.
This blew me away Jazza, I've been watching you for years and I love how much you love this piece. It is definitely one of your best pieces and I loved watching you paint it! amazing!
Why has no one I've ever seen done this dome painting technique? This is SO 3 dimensional! When you move into and deeper into, it really feels like you're in the picture! I love this! You did a beautiful job!
Can only imagine how much cooler this looks in person. It would make such a neat portal effect, sorta stepping into that dome and then looking around and it's a full 360 around you. What I DO know is some aquariums have a dome like that you can stick your head in, and the entire time it feels like you're about to hit the glass, even when you're barely in there. It really does mess with you
Honestly it would be really cool to see him do a second take on this concept, but you view it by coming in from below rather than the side, like the aquarium domes you mentioned!
Would love to see a room with bunch of these embedded in the wall so you can peak into different worlds. Reminds me of Meowwolf a little where there are hidden dioramas you can only see by peeping through crack in the wall etc
Great as the artwork is I'm more blown away by the quality of the camera work in the video. Really manages to sell the 3D and perspective trickery of painting on the dome all the way through.
I know I'm just repeating what most others are saying here, but this is one of the best art pieces I think you've done so far. I really enjoyed your other 3D paintings, like the layered acrylic ones, but I think because they were so much more complicated they didn't look nearly as clean as this painting in the end. I would love to see more of this 3D "dome" art projects like this in the future!
Unironicly one of the best things you've made to date. Both the 3D effect and the painting its self are top of your gain. Been a while since I've verbally gasps in amazment at art on TH-cam. The real thing must be increedable.
This is probably my favourite project or art piece you have ever done. The lighting is so stunning and the depth and detail is astounding oh my goodness
I've been watching jazza for 5-6 years and this guys consistency, creativity and talent never seizes to impress me, always motivates me to try something different, and actually keep trying
Upload a 180° video inside the dome! TH-cam supports them, so if you get a 180 camera and upload that video, we'll be able to look around ourselves as if we're inside! People could even see it in their VR headsets.
Absolutely gorgeous. The effect itself works wonderfully, but man what a painting! Love how the acrylic paint almost feels like you´re sculpting with the way the layers sit on top of each other and blend and push. The final painting looks like something out of the fantasy picture books I used to read as a kid and I love the style of those old prints. This was amazing Jazza!
I find it interesting that fire crackling is a very soothing sound that is easy to fall asleep to, especially considering it isn’t something you’d want to leave unattended. Seriously tho, burnout is easy to get caught by especially at the pace your animating at. Don’t push yourself too hard and make sure to give yourself a break every now and again. Also, props on the slow melting and sfx. Very soothing fire crackling.
I went to a museum recently, which had these cubic glass dispalys that were painted on the inside. From the right POV, they made a very similar illusion of depth. I was absolutely facinated.
He almost always comes in from a unique perspective of how he wants to take his art to the next level, from resin iron, to modified bob ross to optical illusions, to now a fish bowl!
You know Jazza, you are a very talented artist in multiple mediums, and while talented artists are only one in a thousand, there are a billion of us on Earth. I feel like this is you finally shattering the barrier into being one in a million and maybe one day being one of those one in a billion geniuses that we write history books about. While I'd love to see more of these 3D paintings, just keep pushing the envelope in every direction that your creativity guides you!
Hey, just have to say that I really love it when we get a look a bit at the folks that build the supports that you need and how they do it. :) Love the work of all of you!
Two things. First of all, jazza you have really improved a lot recently with youre physical media, i know you used to say you struggled with painting but looking at this video you look like a natural. Second. Would love to see this effect done with like a space or sea environment
It’s crazy how 3D it feels with the bowl. As you move the camera in, it feels like you could keep walking deeper into the painting, out onto the battlements
I had this in my long scroll of youtube tabs and honestly almost just closed this, but I'm SO GLAD I DIDN'T. This may just be my favorite project you've ever done. I'd actually pay to have something like this at home. Incredibly well done Jazza wtf
This is perhaps my favorite thing you've ever made. So cool to watch, and just admiring your talent and the way you understand lighting, working on strange surfaces etc. Haven't even finished the video yet and can't wait for the final reveal
Oh this is so cool- it feels like you could walk down the passages on either side. And I agree that even if it was a flat piece the colors and composition really pop
Personally I think this is some of your best work yet. Not only the amazing concept that works so well and gives you the wow factor, but just the quality of the piece is insanely great.
Great work! Leaving the light sources, the sun and torch, lightly painted and projecting those colors from the backside with an actual light would introduce the light color to your painting. The cool thing to do with this is to paint you color as if there is no light color. This mimics what we do in CG by painting a Diffuse map. Then the light could introduce its own colors. Imagine a night scene with an aurora. You could mimic it by mounting LED's in the bulbs exterior and leaving those areas thinly painted. The light would make your painting glow with the changing colors and since you didn't introduce colored lighting in the paint it would look pretty accurate, and alive. The white rim's would change to the hue of the light so everything would just start to match. You use the light as a wash :D
What a mind-bendingly awesome painting! Not only is the depth extremely immersive and cool to move around, your actually painting skills and colors are fantastic! Definitely one of my favourite pieces from you!
Wow...just wow. Thats an amazing piece, and i really appreciate that the dragon isn't overshadowing everything else, but is still proninent enough to give the sense of context to things.
This is so crazy!!! Just last nite I was thinking 🤔, I haven't watched any Jazza videos in a while. And now, as I open up TH-cam, the first video recommendation is this one!
Jazza does it again, since your early animation day you've inspired me to do digital art, and again here you are inspiring me to do traditional art. My new favorite Jazza project!
Can’t wait to watch this vid! If you are looking for ideas you could try polymorph plastic, it’s these plastic beads that melt in boiling water, you can sculpt it and then it goes really hard within a few minutes 😃 Edit: OMG the outcome looks amazing!🤩
It truly is amazing the work I’ve watched you do. This is probably one of my favorite moments. Not only is the work amazing but the joy you show while doing this video is incredible. I will always enjoy watching your videos and although I’m sure it can be hard from time to time, seeing you show how much art brings you some much enjoyment is refreshing to see. Keep up the good work man!!
I would love to have seen your models reactions to the finished work, they had their part in its creation as well. Lovely piece by the way, Very cool concept.
The fact that you love trying styles and techniques you've never done makes me think that there has to be a way to get a collaboration between you and Martina and Hansi at NerdForge. I have a feeling we'd be truly blown away from the results. And have sore muscles from laughing our collective ass off watching it all unfold!.
The best thing about this piece is the true joy you exude. So genuine. You’re always happy and joyful. But this hit different. I’m so happy for you and grateful for us. ❤
To be honest u prolly could have masked off the back portion of the painting ovr the sky and put the whole thing in a box and had an actual light being produced from the sky in the painting
Not only is this an amazing use of the medium but also I love the artwork itself. It feels like such a classic fantasy scene I remember from older fantasy books and game covers, instant nostalgia!:) Really well done!
Where you have the guy in the painting is like a hallway in the castle and you honestly feel like you can change positions and see down the hallway. I love it it's an awesome painting and I'm only 8:30 in.
Hey Jazza, have you been late in paying your editors? Hehehe your skin is pale as a ghost here 0:24. A bit colour adjusting would give your skin some redness but nonetheless great content, entertaining and informative as ever.
You have all rights to proud. All your skill and passion for this craft considered, this is really astonishing painting and the immersive effect is the cherry on top. Looks amazing!
That is the single most impressive painting I think I've ever seen! I can't explain how much it looks like everything just pops out even when it's not in the right position. I can only imagine how amazing it is in person!
I am by no means a professional artist but having attempted a fish-eye perspective drawing this entire art project is just mind boggling. There are just no words to describe how impressive this feels. Well done mate, you are a legend among legends.
Seeing this piece taking shape and form throughout the video was simply astonishing, the perspective, the colors, the technique... I've never been so impressed. This makes me want to try this on my own... if only I had the time 😢😢😢
This reminds me of a family heirloom at my grandmas house. It's convex instead of concave, but it's painted in a really similar fashion, then the entire thing was painted over (on the inside) with something silver and shiny, so when looking at it from the front, the whole painting has a metallic sheen and incredible depth.
That is absolutely gorgeous! The 3D effect really pops, even on camera. And I love how much story it tells with just such a simple design. Two figures and a tiny silhouette, but that's all you need for a great story.
Whoa! Just whoa! Love this perspective art piece as it reminded me of a 180 degree video too. I bet someone might have said something about 180 as the entire point was looking at the art at different angles. Maybe one of the best art pieces that Jazza has done yet.
Seriously amazing, this needs to go to an art gallery IMO, what a cool concept and great execution. Really nice piece of art actually also. I dont think the camera does much justice to how cool it would be to stick your face in there and check out all the details.
This looks so, SO wild. It literally feels like you can step through that gate. At the beginning of the video i thought you had put stuff in front of the dome. This is one of the coolest pieces of art i have ever seen
I’ve got to say, your consistent art work is paying off, your getting better every day and this was legitimately impressive. The lighting and textures were spot on.
Wow, this is the most innovative and incredible art I have ever seen. Before finding your channel, I had no idea different art like this existed. It is very mind blowing and amazing. You are very talented and I genuinely enjoy your art and it’s beauty. 👏🏼❤️
This is so good! I can't put into words how much I love this. The technique is so fascinating and what you did with it is simply amazing! This is probably my favourite thing you've ever made.
Ngl BOSSMAN I think I started watching you about 7-8 years ago and would really watch all your videos and would draw a lot, it’s great coming across your channel again and seeing all the amazing things you’ve done over the years. I was watching and was amazed and just laser focused, I couldn’t help but think wow your videos are still the same and still make me feel like I’m in 7th grade (around the time I first came across your channel) than you when on to thank use and it was just a really great 15 minutes. Hope you see this Jazza and know we really appreciate you BOSS
I actually did some painting for the first time since highschool and it was so much fun! They were tiny canvases and it was stencil art, but i made the stencils myself and they turned out so good (in my opinion) Im happy i finally did something artsy. And i gotta say, from watching your videos for years, i was able to apply a few painting techniques ive learned from you which made me realise how much i learned without even ever having done it before.
So this is like glass painting but leveled up?? I love it so much and this is one of the best Jazza artworks I’ve ever seen - and I’ve watched since 2016!!
That is absolutely amazing! The painting by itself is one of the best you've done, but then adding the whole 3D aspect of it, it just brings it to a whole new level!
what i love the most about this is the 2 rooms on the sides. at first it seems a bit flat but the second you look at those, you feel like you can just go inside, and when you turn back to the center it all feels 3d
I've always been so amazingly impressed at your dedication to trying NEW techniques wirh art. From an observers perspective, it really seems like every time you step out of your comfort zone you gain +15 art levels
I think this might actually be my favourite project you've done. I absolutely adore how it looks like a fisheye lens from a distance, then slowly shifts into correct perspective as you move closer. Really magical!
agreed! ive watched jazza on and off for years. this is my favorite
I know that's true too because the painting also relies mostly on seeing this in person and it still looks amazing on youtube!
Yes agree 💯
I absolutely agree- i would pay hundreds for something like this to have on display in my home.

I haven't watched these videos in so long, im so glad to be back. This video just reminded me of why i love this channel so much
Amazing! The hemisphere really makes this piece wonderfully immersive!
what i love the most about this is the 2 rooms on the sides. at first it seems a bit flat but the second you look at those, you feel like you can just go inside, and when you turn back to the center it all feels 3d
I've always been so amazingly impressed at your dedication to trying NEW techniques wirh art.
From an observers perspective, it really seems like every time you step out of your comfort zone you gain +15 art levels
Your talent blows me away! Well done!
Amazing job! Seriously loved watching this come together - great job, Jazza!
That’s extraordinarily good and really showcases your skills and expertise. Awesome. 👏🏼🎉👏🏼
Simply amazing. Beautiful work, Jaza!
Wow this is absolutely stunning!! Love it Jazza!!
