Instead of buying bobbins I chose to set up a folding table and just flip the blanket over after each round. This way the yarn is still in the same place. I am working with 22 diff skeins of yarn at once sometimes and so far so good. 😊
Hi. I'm planning to go into tapestry. But, I have a question. I have learnt about about floating and carrying over yarn, apart ftom this methods, is there another way to do color change to really have a very neat back side?
Have you tried this method: th-cam.com/video/eKBdU-nCsyU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=UZPJ4NpffprJWJsP It makes the back just as neat as the front but you can end up needing a lot of bobbins depending on the design.
@@WillowCrochet I just want to say a big thank you for replying, most YT channels don't reply. Thank you again. On this note, please, do you have tutorial on crotchet graph apps? I heard about stitch fiddle, please do you have any tutorial that can help with how to use these graph websites?
@@readabooktoday Yes I do! I only use Stitch Fidde so that is the only one I have tutorials for but this playlist is a good place to start: th-cam.com/play/PLezz64N4GsPmMdVfzuvGgZal-yPStvZhm.html&si=qWlXr2mBvxDYD2Rh
We don't carry yarn when making a graphgan because these projects typically require many colors. Carrying the yarn would create bulk and visible strands, leading to an untidy finish.

Hey i just had a question, why dont we carry the yarn in graphgans? Is it convention? Or is there a reason?

Thank you very helpful
