Im theory crafting an ursas nightmare/Purgatory/uldyssian/band of skulls werebear,figure id stack as many gimmicks into one build as possible to see what happens. On paper it doesnt look terrible, what do you think would be ideal merc? Whirlcry barb with amp weapon, or meditation cold rogue with amp weapon? Kind of a choice between a more offensive and more defensive setup. With ideal gear that would take a million years of play/fg to aquire,i think it could be tolerable lol.
I like Whirl merc, his Battle Cry is better than Amp since it also lowers monster defense, and he also has Battle Orders for increased life. The thing I noticed though with Whirlwind merc is that he tends to get "stuck" as in he'll whirlwind into a mob and not be able to whirlwind out. If you're going to use him I'd recommend a source of teleport/blink in case you have to save him lol.

Man thank you so much,I really appreciate it. Off meta d2 is what has kept me in this game for 20 years,and a helmet that provides zeal has been my dream item for about as long. Pd2 looks like it has so many opportunities for me to go cross class and weird, I can't wait to dive in!. I played median xl and beelzebub alot before d2r dropped, there's a magic in these games that nothing else quite touches.
