I'm so lucky to have found this channel! It's one of the best on the whole TH-cam. And Cecil Alexander is a very smart.
Could you please consider making a video about the concepts used in this video?
    - diatonic approach
    - chromatic approach
    - enclosure
    - chromatic enclosure [decorated]
    - melodic cell
    - rhythmic decoration
    - pivot arpeggio
    - arpeggio (linear)
    - smooth voice leading (linear)
    - half-whole diminished (linear)
    - octave displacement
    - chromatic passing tone
    - altered tensions
Something like -- "The Top 15 Concepts for building Jazz Phrases" ?
I've never seen any video like that!

Hi there, I'll say what I think. Actually these music theory concepts are pretty simple, and it's just a matter of where those notes come from. What's more important is how to sing, practice, and build up those musical phrases. Have fun~

@@brian106699 Come on man ~These concepts can be explained in two or three sentences, but mastering them takes a long time. And that's what I mean🤣

i recently got the fat swing strings from thomas inkfeild or whatever. they are very nice to play. great tension for finger chords and they are just really nice. the Daddiro flats got better reviews but I will try them next
