S Vincennes Ave: Driving in far Southside Chicago: 4k: Streets of the Americas

Today our ride will be on Vincennes Rd in brief stretch in the city of Blue Island and S Vincennes Ave in far southside Chicago. There are three segments to this diagonal street one in Blue Island and two others in Chicago far south and south side. The first two sections that runs contiguously starts from 127th St as Vincennes Road in Blue Island and turns into South Vincennes Avenue from 119th St in Morgan Park neighborhood to 70th Street in Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood in Chicago's south side. The third leg of this street runs from 50th Pl just north of Washington Park to E Browning
Avenue in Bronzeville neighborhood in Chicago's south side. We will be covering the first two segments of this street from 127th St to 71st St.
The trip will take you past City of Blue Island and Morgan Park, East Beverly, Longwood Manor, Brainerd, Auburn Gresham and Greater Grand Crossing neighborhoods in Chicago. Vincennes Ave runs pretty much along Metra's Rock Island Line, Some notable institutions along the way are Morgan Park High, Simeon High and Mahalia Jackson Elementary School.
The distance covered today is 8 miles and time taken was about 20 mins. Enjoy!!!!!!!
