What kind of gas milage did you get? and What was your avg speed? I presume you kept it under 70 (if it would even go that fast)? I'm deciding between the 26 Diesel from Penske or the Same 26 you used from U-Haul. I know I will load mine heavy so fuel economy/cost is a concern. Thank You.
There were a number of factors that went into the fuel cost. We were towing and that added to the fuel charge. We rented three different ones overall, all U-Haul. A diesel would be the way to go, in my opinion.
@@americanrootsfarm weird, I needed to tow my car once because the clutch went out (I was able to drive it onto the auto transport but that's about it) and they didn't even ask me what I was towing lol. I guess it depends on the location you go to
Yeah, it was a heavy load. U-Haul was very good about making sure the truck fit and that we knew the limits of the vehicle pulling that much weight. Joe and I stayed in the right lane with hazards on up the mountain. We made it safe, all is well!
I’m about to drive this same setup from Oregon to Alabama with a bulldog! Y’all made it look easy! Nice Tacoma on that trailer.
Thank you. Drive safe and take your time.
Thankful for a safe and uneventful trip!
We were too! No bad weather at all!

Only for stock vehicles, if I would have had a lift, they wouldn't have rented it to me.
