Hey everyone! We are so glad you are here. We have been so busy building the house, we haven't been able to upload an update. Well, we were able to squeeze one in amongst all of the building chaos. We hope you enjoy the progress as much as we do! So the question is, will it still be considered a tiny house after the addition is complete? We are building a 14x17 addition onto the tiny house. It ...

มุมมอง 5632 หลายเดือนก่อน
Hey everyone! We are so glad you decided to stop by and see what we are up to on the homestead. In this video, Joe and I are building a fence for our lagoon. This will allow us to not only get an address, but build a bathroom on the homestead! This is a huge task to accomplish by ourselves. We were quoted $4500 from an outside company to put it up for us! So even with the challenges we faced, w...

Hey there! We are so glad you stopped by to see what we are up to. There is a new project everyday! Joe and I are working on making the "bedroom" of the tiny house. We don't use the loft space and I am terrified of heights, so it makes sense to tear it out. But once we get it out, then what?

It's starting to take shape you guys are doing an amazing well done ❤
Measure twice or more, cut once. Measure once, back to the hardware store....
Love it! We are so happy for you guys. Standing walls up is so exciting.
Love your journey❤❤❤
What a difference walls make - sewing up those side seams!
11:28 what was that sound?
Thank you for this video. It showed me exactly how to cut the opening for my kitchen sink.😊
That place is a Fing MESS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Winning, winning and winning
A door is a good idea 😂. Love the chicken helpers ❤🌿 Be blessed
17:42 I love you Sophia. Gonna miss you. :( Love you guys.
Love you too Rich. It’s farm life. ❤️
How well has it been heating the inside?
It heats really good directly in front or behind but it doesn’t seem to give off heat anywhere else. We bought a new one this year with a better heat rating.
I’m about to drive this same setup from Oregon to Alabama with a bulldog! Y’all made it look easy! Nice Tacoma on that trailer.
Thank you. Drive safe and take your time.
Ok, I will weigh in, your video is awesome, great idea going on a property search, you must find what is right for you, #1 you will never find the dream place you have in your head, #2 the place you find may be heaven for part of the year, and hell for the rest of the year, visit the area in all 4 seasons before committing. #3 for all you citiots out there, its not downtown anything to be done will have to be done YOURSELF, i can't find anyone local to help me, they are buzy working for themselves and to wasted to help others, or not capable of helping, contractors expect you to put them up in the closest hotel, and totally support them while they are there PLUS pay them bacon davis wages, bottom line YOU BETTER KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING BEFORE YOU COMMIT TO A SALE, #4 all these homesites you are visiting are someone else's FAILURES if they were happy and everything worked out the place wouldn't be for sale, it takes a special person to survive out there, you may think you can do it until you got to #5 people love to drive out in the countryside in the early spring see all the old ghost towns, and property for sale, some people lately think they will make millions on U-BOOB and live happily ever after, i have lived off grid sence 1982, forty years in California and five in Arizona currently an hour from the closest town, i wouldn't live anywhere else, you bet i know what i am talking about i have lived it, in short if you are the right kind of person, you got it, if not you are screwed, out here its total reality, no slack for the weak, nature doesn't give a dam, its up to you to succeed, or not, have a nice day.😊
Should have just gotten a brush mower?
Making a lot of progress
Your tiny house is growing. It will be nice to have a private bathroom.
I know, right?! It’s going to feel luxurious!
That was easy… famous words eh? Be blessed beautiful people ❤️🌿
lol it’s the homesteading slogan. Love and miss you guys! Be blessed😘
Loved this - they actually did a better job than I can do!!
And quickly too! I was surprised at how quickly they went through it.
A few years ago we weren't even sure what a cistern was- everything looks great!
Thanks! Isn’t that the truth? We are on the learning journey.
If they're asking more than fifty bucks then they're asking too much
The wind is the problem for me.Too much wind and all the time really sucks
Hope you found your O-Ring. using a piece of small speaker wire will help with installing it if there are two races and you have to get the seal to the second race.
❤❤❤🥳
I am making cinnamon roles this weekend 1 😊 Thank you!
Where's the forklift?
I can run a Stihl
X & O door! ❤
One step at a time. Good morning ☕☕😎😎
That is how we do it. Good morning!
My man, the lord is by your side every step of the way. Turn the key on and just listen for a buzz to see if pump is working. God bless.
Amen!
God is good all the time.
Amen!
Amen!
Love it, start a new trend.
I love that idea!!
Wow, day by day brother. Looking sweet. God bless
Thank you! We appreciate your encouragement.
12:55 this is the part of homesteading that I would fail horribly at. Butcher time :( Concrete slab looks great! Good work.
Thanks Rich. There is one thing for sure, there is nothing easy about this life. But, there is great satisfaction knowing how your food was treated and where it came from. So I guess, the hard part pays off in the end.
I bought a new Graceland, 16x40, put it off grid at 7,000ft. Installing one of these soon. Thanks for posting this video. 😊
That sounds awesome! You are in for a treat!
Pipe, pipe and more pipe will make that process slick as a whistle
That's amazing! What skill he demonstrates moving the house.
He has a knack for making it look easy!
What an awesome process!!!

“Dogs are in there, Chicken on the porch.” My people! Love you guys! Be blessed ❤🌿
No other way than with the animals in the mix! Love and miss you guys too! Stay safe♥︎
Greetings from Western Canada! If my opinion is worth something, I believe that the most important aspect of your excellent installation is all of the love and supportive encouragement that you received throughout this entire video. When a man is encouraged and supported, by those who love him, even what seems to be impossible - becomes possible. Well done!
Thank you for the kind words!
Very nice! Thanks for sharing!
We are glad you enjoyed it!
What kind of gas milage did you get? and What was your avg speed? I presume you kept it under 70 (if it would even go that fast)? I'm deciding between the 26 Diesel from Penske or the Same 26 you used from U-Haul. I know I will load mine heavy so fuel economy/cost is a concern. Thank You.
There were a number of factors that went into the fuel cost. We were towing and that added to the fuel charge. We rented three different ones overall, all U-Haul. A diesel would be the way to go, in my opinion.
Can you be more specific as to “Northern” Arizona? To me, North is Flagstaff; middle is Sedona and Jerome. Are you anywhere near the Havasupai Gorge?
Closer to St.john near the border.
Indien slechte trek, zou ik de schouw verhogen 🔥🔥🔥👍
Hi Folks; I don't know where you live now so your range of searching may be different than others, but someplace you might not have considered (I now it sounds weird unless you have been here), is Northern Arkansas, I looked everwhere before amd landed here. lots of trees amd water, gpod land prices and cities within less than two hours from anywhere. Plus, if you are planning to build, you can do so with your own trees with only a sawmill. If you are interessted let me know. Thhere are also lots of business idea that work in this area. Skip
I call mine the Scratchelor Pad! lol Yours is fancy smancy! I love it!
Looking good! I love watching the chickens, something gratifying about seeing them happy. Be blessed ❤️🌿
I know, I love listening to their happy noises too! Love and miss you sweet friend.♥︎
