Aranyaprathet in Thailand and Poi Pet in Cambodia are bustling border towns that serve as vital transit and commerce hubs between the two countries.
Located in Sa Kaeo Province, Aranyaprathet is known for the Rong Kluea Market, attracting tourists and locals with its variety of goods from Vietnam and Cambodia, you can pick up some big bargains here. It is well-connected by rail and road from Bangkok. The town itself has many facilities and restaurants, some on the river.
Poi Pet, in Banteay Meanchey Province, is famous for its casinos, which draw numerous Thai tourists due to gambling being illegal in Thailand. This has spurred growth in its hospitality and entertainment sectors. The border crossing between Aranyaprathet and Poi Pet is one of Southeast Asia’s busiest, crucial for trade and tourism, though often congested. Both towns exhibit a blend of Thai and Cambodian cultures in their daily life, markets, and cuisine.

I believe people can only do it 3 times, I’m not sure how they would stop people going to Cambodia though 😂. Maybe they will stop people re entering
