Damn Sean, nice save at 6:55 ! Perfect example of keeping your cool and not death gripping that front brake in panic mode dropping it to the left, or super over correcting and flopping over to the right. Well done :)
Sometimes you'll get a little chirp out of that front I usually just put a hold of slight steady pressure on my rear to increase the weight load and get my ass down on the back side if all else fails you'll have a slight limited slip with your rear tire but usually when it's hot out and it'll never happen!
Just bought my 2008 fatboy and i could not be happier!! I owe Shawn and Caleb my life for all the super informative and entertaining test rides and reviews...God bless ya fellas
I have a 2005 anniversary Fatboy, and Luv it! I have done a lot of custom work on it and made it my own. I have owned a few Touring models, and Fatboy is definitely a different ride, just a lot of fun!
I sold my twin cams and bought a 98 Fatboy I love it It is lighter than the bikes I been riding over the last 50 years. I may need a windshield later but I don't ride that far anymore so it is fine like it is. I got to say I did like the fuel injection on my 2001 FLHRCI more than the carburetor on my 2002 FLSTC. This 98 has a carburetor and it runs fine as did my 02 FLSTC but I still have to screw around with jets to get the 02 to idle right Harley has them starved for fuel.
Hey Shawn, I enjoy both of your channels very much. Just got an ‘01 Fatboy which is why I just watched this revue about a year late. Cool video including a great scripture reading! All the best to you 😃
On my 1st proper ride on the road I was on an '04 Softie and I had a moment like that. Complete inexperience on the bike. I had only been up and down my street previous. I don't know how I didn't stack but it was a big moment just like that one at 6:55
I have driven a motorcycle....but I want to. I know I am not interested in street or dirt bikes, although they are very cool, I like bikes that are like the one in this video. Aside from taking a class to learn, how do I determine which bike I should get? Are there things I should look for and stay away from specifically as a noob?
For round town and probably most short rides, FB is lilkey the kewlest lookin HD but thing is for longer rides, you're gonna want hard bags, probably bit bigger, smoother bike and by the time you add those accessories to FB, you are into the cost of a Roadking. I went with Roadking for those reasons. It looks like a FB but it's got a bigger better frame, better suspension.I just think (used) Roadking is a better bang for the buck than FB.
My brother's 1999 Fat Boy is pretty sweet. I love Harley Davidson and love the looks of them but when it comes to the sodtail bikes, my Victory V92C is a much more comfortable bike then any Harley Softail. My Road King Classic is awesome too.
The fatboy name comes the atomic bomb that was dropped in Japan (1st bomb was called little boy and the fat man) the tank decals reflect on that as well

Just bought an 04 fatboy today! I pick it up next week!
Dam I thought you were going down in that turn. Nice save.
Terminator 2 bike! “I can’t let you take the man’s wheels son, now get off before I put you down.”
Those older fatboys look so much better than the new model.
I totally agree with you

Dying to get a fat boy now, your videos have sold me
Kawasaki is the first who introduced fuel injection in motorcycle in 1980. Harley used this technology in 1995...

Better suspension on a hardtail? Doubtful.
I love hearing passages from the Holy Bible while talking about Fat Boy in the same video. May God keep you safe.
Had a 97 fatboy could not sell it it was very clean but i had to break it up into spares to sell her
Front fenders are different as well

Can you pleas do a video on the motorini bomber 125? I would appreciate it
Harley-Davidson first released the Fat Boy in 1990
thanks for the video. love the scripture
The front fender is smaller on a Fatboy than a heritage.
if i buy a 99 fatboy, could i trust it to take me cross country given it was serviced regularly?
Absolutely. Maintain it and itll go 100k miles
Bible verses on the bike? I love it! I'm going to buy a bike soon and you and your shop is on my list!
Thank you
Thank you for those prayers. They really do work and they let me know that God is along for the ride.
Yes
Amen brother
People couldn’t tell any difference until Harley stuffed up the design in 2022. Google it, you’ll see things don’t look right

And I wanna play that song for the ladies when I ride around in the city of Milwaukee

That goofy bump ,that's what they all say.
Combination of goofy bump and too much front brake on the turn .
Ahhh it is good to see a video with the real fatboty and not the stupid ugly Vulcan's japanese copy 2018's model.
