I'm probably making this more challenging than it should be lol. I think I did the length right... hopefully, but now I'm confused by the corners/ends. I am determined to make this blanket, so I'm not giving up!
Finally a chunky blanket tutorial that I can actually follow. I don’t know what’s wrong with my brain but every other tutorial I’ve watched on TH-cam just frustrates me.
@@angelalanter your starting chain is definitely a crochet chain, but from there on its knitting. Crochet only has one live stitch/loop at a time, but knitting keeps a whole row of 'em going. Usually, a needle is needed to stop them all from slipping and unravelling, but your extra fuzzy yarn keeps them in place. And now you know! 😊
@@annevasic539 nope, this is a knit pattern. A chain is not exclusive to crochet. When you cast on to a needle you are making a chain. It's just on the needle already. 🤦 I don't get why this is so hard for people to understand? Crochet and knit are different but they share a few things in common though. The chain is one of them.
I love that she messed up and showed it. It’s more realistic and it’ll make me feel waaaaayyyy better if I mess up. Love the tutorial!!!!!

How many do you suggest looped columns and rows for roughly a full/Queen sized blanket?
I haven't made that size so I'm not sure. Just keep adding loops on the first row until you get the size you like.
How many rolls of yarn would u recommend for a throw blanket?
