    *It’s a great idea to knit a small blanket the size of a tea towel and send it to Australia. We are 5 days into 2020 and the country is burning down. Half a billion animals have tragically died, and blankets are being accepted for the animals that barely managed to escape but got sent to veterinary centres.*

    That’s so cool! 😀 You did really well. 👏 I love the idea of using it as a tree skirt, it looks so cute, very rustic and homey looking. And you did awesome on the blanket for Matt too! 👍 I’ve been wanting a blanket like that, I think you’re tutorial is very helpful, I’m just not sure about making one myself, I’m not really crafty. I’d rather just buy one, lol. But that’s just me, I’m lazy. 😂 Your video is great though, I loved it, it’s very helpful for anyone who wants to try it. How many do you suggest looped columns and rows for roughly a full/Queen sized blanket?

    • @angelalanter
      @angelalanter  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't made that size so I'm not sure. Just keep adding loops on the first row until you get the size you like.

  • @annevasic539
    @annevasic539 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I hate to be a picker (especially on such a fun video!)...but this is knitting, technically. Not crochet.
    Beautiful result, either way!

    • @annevasic539
      @annevasic539 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@angelalanter your starting chain is definitely a crochet chain, but from there on its knitting. Crochet only has one live stitch/loop at a time, but knitting keeps a whole row of 'em going. Usually, a needle is needed to stop them all from slipping and unravelling, but your extra fuzzy yarn keeps them in place.
      And now you know! 😊

    • @anawashere5762
      @anawashere5762 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@annevasic539 nope, this is a knit pattern. A chain is not exclusive to crochet. When you cast on to a needle you are making a chain. It's just on the needle already. 🤦 I don't get why this is so hard for people to understand? Crochet and knit are different but they share a few things in common though. The chain is one of them.

    • @angelalanter
