Not gonna lie I got emotional watching this. I am so honored to now be a part of this amazing group. I can’t wait to make music as beautiful as this with them in the future.
This song is so incredibly meaningful to me. My dad died a few months ago from Covid and in the days after that I heard this song. I cried then. I cried today when I heard it again. Thank you so much for sharing this.
Watched the ULV Choir version of "Oh! What A Beautiful City". Now I found this gem! I'm going to keep looking for ULV Choir vids along with Shawn Kirschner's compositions and arrangements - this is awesome!
Thank you for sharing this composition with the world. Last night at Queen’s House of Retreats in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, the University of Saskatchewan Greystone Singers sang this selection and it stirred frond memories of a dear friend who recently died and whose funeral I had attended online the very afternoon before attending the Gala Dinner. In speaking with other attendees, I heard of similar reactions. Your creativity was well appreciated and touching. Thank you for your creative music composition!
We sang this with my school's choir at our last performance for the year. We all cried like babies. But, I'm listening to this as a senior and I keep sobbing.

Seriously, I wish this was the reference my choir's director had given us! The way the singers tell the story with their voice is so beautiful, and it makes me happy that there are people out there that like this song as much as I do.

Heard this performed last night at an amazing concert held in All Hallows, Dublin by the University of California, Irvine, Chamber
Singers in a beautiful setting. Memorable performance, a unique experience. Had to come here to hear this fabulous song again.
My choir director mentioned that this was one of his all time favorite songs. I had never heard it before. So I went on TH-cam to listen to some renditions. This recording is the best I have heard - masterfully sung and meaningfully stated. An absolute A+. Bravo!
