She seems to care about him throughout the show. He does get on her nerves but I think she looks at him as a child. There's more than a few moments throughout the series where it looks like she cares about him but it's hard to tell with Angela sometimes because she has such a tough exterior.

If we took this literally I would wonder how it was safe to eat an uncooked, meat based refrigerated product that had been sitting at room temperature for 8 hours.

Note; there is a special power plug timer where you can set the timer when you want to power to turn on and turn off. So the night before you go too sleep you can actually place the bacon in the grill then set the time when you want the power to turn on then go too sleep. Then you don’t need to wake up twice, just once to only to the smell of bacon 🥓
