You know its gonna be bad when the second scene in a "gets progressively creepier" video is Toby touching Pam's knee
yes i got very nervous when i realized the same
@@NewWesternFront Me too!

Poo 999
Exactly what I was thinking 😅😅
Toby touching Pam's leg is the reason Michael met his future wife.
Dang Michael hated Toby but Toby was still a bro for Michael in the end
Butterfly Effect
😂😂
Please explain this
@@ditsholankies because Toby felt so awkward after touching her knee he spontaneously decided to move to Costa Rica. When he moved, the company placed a new HR rep in his position and she ended up marrying Michael.
Even Michael isn't weird enough to just randomly get in a stranger's face and say: "smile if you love mens prostates" lol
Yes he is, under the correct conditions
The trench coat made it worse
@@urmothermia and the dahmer glasses
Under ideal circumstances, Michael can do far worse
@@azrofmahmud4969totally different shaped glasses dude, maybe you need a pair😅
I can't believe Toby touching Pam's lap wasn't the creepiest scene
I’m predicting its the Nellie kiss scene that will be the creepiest
You are confusing „creepy“ with „awkward/cringe“. It was definitely the latter, but was it creepy? He clearly didn‘t intent it in a sexual way. Creepy implies intent.
Not sure why you think creepy would imply intent? That's not the definition.
I love how Jim continues to stare at pams knee long after Toby had already took his hand off
@@Chrisko1492 no it doesn't. you can creep people out without actively trying to.
When he jumped over that fence, I was convinced that he was the Scranton strangler 😂
He actually went to Costa Rica also 😂

It's nice you made a video about the scranton strangler
😂😂😂
Facts😎😎😎
You cannot convince me otherwise when these deleted scenes of Toby depict him in that way.
@@siccdiccwatch the scene of the Scranton stranger car crash. Toby was still in the office
@@ojsimpsonslawyer you never watched Scream? Scream Queens? Multiple killers to throw off the investigators/audience
Getting in a stranger’s face when they’re with their kid and telling them to smile if they like men’s prostates is so much creepier than touching someone’s leg
But it’s not just anyone touching someone’s leg, it’s Toby. Which is like a zillion times worse.
Not so, I'm a little kid lover and think this appropriate.
@@johngilmore697ay yo wtf
No, words are not creepier than physically touching someone’s thigh lol
@@oofowie8882 😂
Makes a PDA complaint about Jim and Pam, does the same thing with Nellie 🙄😒😑
What he does is waaay grossser
It was never about the rules for him. It was about his envy.
Toby has the ability to take the tiniest amount of social awkwardness and grow it exponentially till there's nothing left to do but to run away or say sorry.
It’s pretty underrated how athletic Toby was hopping that fence
i mean he did run a 5k haha tbf the pills that dwight slipped into his coffee helped him tho 😅 i think he was just really embarrassed
I mean dude is the Scranton strangler, ofc he's athletic. He's got crime scenes to get away from

3:57 Pam was really considerate with that remark, I think she was just trying to alleviate the awkwardness.
Or she always saw Toby as harmless, unable to do that in a malicious way.
@@redacted2275 Yeah, that could also be the case
@@late8641no it's the second. How could you miss that
i think Pam wouldn't even think that Toby has any enviousness in him
More like self important
Now I see why Michael hates him so much.
6:00 That was kind of a jerk move from Jim. You always bump a fist when offered
I came here to say the same exact thing
Yeah, it was unnecessary... Jim kept looking at Toby's hands like he was exposing his junk or something.
Exactly what I was thinking, that was all on Jim.
I don’t think Jim realized what a fist bump is. Because he asked if it’s a new thing. Also Jim totally has a right to not like Toby bc he clearly hits on Pam in creepy ways alllll the time
To be fair Jim is probably the worst character in the show
"Are you going to kiss me?" "Yes" *whips glasses off*
"DOES ANYONE HAVE A CAMERA HeRe...?"
Tobey “just realizing” he doesn’t have a picture of him and Pam on two separate occasions is funny
as a younger viewer i sympathized with toby bc i could tell how lonely and isolated he felt. Now that I'm older and I've met people like that irl a few times, I can see how Toby's issues are somewhat self imposed; he's entitled and assuming with women, which makes them rightly uncomfortable around him; he's reclusive which makes him hard to make friends with; and although i think everyone in the office should have treated him like a PERSON (Michael straight up abused him on the daily and everyone pretty much ignored it) he chose to create these ridiculous fantasies in his head about women he wasn't even that close with, and instead of standing up for himself took out all his rage by becoming the scranton strangler lol.
The writers confirmed he's definitely NOT the Scranton strangler btw
@@rr.studiosthey're liars

This was hard to sit through 😬
You're stronger than me I couldn't
I feel that Toby - like many of the characters during late season 7 onward - was unfortunately flanderized to where the point of his character was lost. Toby was the straight man of the series - the archetype of the boring HR worker in an office. Was he socially awkward and quiet? Yes. But he was never meant to be the creep that the last two seasons portrayed him as. The show should've ended after Michael left, as it became evident that the crew couldn't write everyone without him there.
For me, it was Darryl. Before Michael left, he was cool and smart and then, after Michael left, he played the "every guy" character
@@godspeedgideon9178 Just being in that office turns everyone into a weirdo lol. Jim was at risk if he hadn't started working at Athlead
It took me until my second time watching the series to realize Michael is right about toby
I never realised how disturbing this man was
I was just thinking the same thing.Jesus he was creepy
Toby is a character that I simultaneously feel a deep sense of sympathy for and a certain level of disgust.
6:00 nah why jim have to do toby like that didnt need to b awkward at all💀
2:04 asks about a camera in front of a camera crew😆
I forgot all about Toby's crush on
Pam, and now I remember why
"Does anyone have a camera here?"
'No one has a camera here' will never get old.
The way he emphasized the word 'here' in that line. Like he's immediately calculating whether he should run home to get a camera, or to the closest store to buy one lol
When even Andy is surprised by your behaviour, it means you're really way past the line lol
When he rubbed Pam's knee, he just stopped caring for a moment lol
Toby using the word "dopest" non ironically is top-tier cringe
Congrats to every single one of us who managed to get through all 8 agonizing minutes of this👏😂
This show does show its age when Toby asks for a camera 😂
I grew up before smartphones, but it feels so long ago now. When he said that I thought, "how does he not have - oh, right."
While later episodes of the Office make him super creepy, I do feel bad for Toby throughout like the first 6 seasons. Dude can't seem to catch a break.
The Scranton strangler was indeed the creepiest guy on the show.
We all know he's the scranton strangler right?
Toby just wanted to be included. And as the show goes one we understand why he wasn't 😂
Honestly I like Toby when he isn’t creepy and when he gets a better role in a episode
I like it better when hes the creepy "villain" rather than the victim of bullying, idk why
I don’t think it really is that Toby is creepy. I think he is just really really unhappy, and remember that the meta narrative is this a documentary; so he is probably constantly uncomfortable.
Ain't no way Paul made his job ' furiouslymake out with Catherine Tate' and actually gets residual checks for it
I think Toby put up with Michael's constant cruelty and insults because he understood him psychologically on some deep level. Seriously Michael is so hateful to him and 95% of it seems to roll off his shoulder. That and his whole 'mild-mannered' act allowed him to not be suspected for his...other activities.
good choice for the creepiest clip at the end, it's a whole other level
maybe its just me but I don’t like how they made toby an ACTUAL weirdo. like yeah he was always weird, the pam knee thing is weird and crossinf boundaries, but I interpret that as toby just being awkward and out of touch. He’s striaght up a weirdo in later seasons, like how he is with nelly. I will admit, i think weirdo toby is funny. but the Michael hating Toby thing is funnier when it’s just blind hatred rooted in nothing. its funnier to see michael pick on some normal awkward dude then to see him pick on an actual weirdo who deserves it.
Dude got so embarrassed he moved to costarica
He is 10000% the strangler
toby was comedic gold to me
@7:10 the moment I was waiting for. 😂
Does Dwight hate Toby since he helped him out on occasionally stuff like asking about the clitoris or helping him spy on Darryl
The Darrel stuff was related to work, as in Darrel taking advantage of the company, that's why Dwight was involved. The clitoris one I don't remember why it happened...
Yeah it could’ve someone else to ask toby
The fence hop is Scranton strangler strength!
0:23 still think he should’ve played Mr Peabody in the movie
2:50 Michael's body language and demeanor toward Toby in this moment crack me up. Toby's pettiness and jealousy backfire so perfectly here.
6:03 how is toby the weird one here jim is weird for not accepting the fistbump and trying to make a joke out of him for the cameras
The last 4 or 5 seasons of this show are unfathomably awful. Everybody turns from a somewhat belivable human into a complete cartoon character.
2 seasons
Yep, the characters changed but I would describe only the last season as truly bad. Even the 8 was so entertaining for me whereas the last one felt too tacky and strained.
And he was part of hr? Wow 😅
"dOES ANYONE HAVE A CAMERA HERE?!"
I think Michael's hatred of Toby wasn't without validation. Maybe he was on to something. 😂
Damnit 😂 He won the room over and lost it in 3 seconds. That leg rub was just the most Awkward thing.
But I for one think he saved it with the fence hopping, it'd showed he understood he messed up a bit.
The weird thing was Jim not reacting to that. He didn't look that shocked either...
@@redacted2275what are you talking about that expression perfectly encapsulates shock
I loved Jim's Reaction.
@redacted2275 yeah, what? Jim had a majorly shocked face lol
@@tunmishemakewu331 wow someone just got a nonconsensual touch. That someone is my girlfriend. My reaction: 😬. Because I'm nonconfrontational, and I don't want to verbalize my thoughts bc that's uncomfortable and I'm immature 😬😬
Im sorry Toby touching Pam's leg is clip 2! This is going to be a wild ride.
I honestly love Toby and I hate Michael for bullying him so much
Thanks for making this :D
I love how toby got a girlfriend thats just as weird as him in the end😂😂
@7:38 Dwight's face 😂😂😂
Toby is the reason women choose Bear. 😂
Season 9 Toby is what Michael tought season 1 Toby was
We all wish for a relationship like Jim and Pam, but it’s a sad realisation that some of us are the Toby
pam is the best at keeping people in the friendzone
Well almost every guy in this office hit on her at some point over the 9 season run... Even if they were all her type it'd be unrealistic for her to give all of them a chance. And she still got called the office mattress and we only saw her in 2 relationships
till this day. i still don’t get whether toby was deeply distrusted by that costume of him or extremely aroused😭.
The casting director had a real thing for red heads
We all think were jim, but we all jave a bit of toby
i knew this was gonna be a long video when the second clip was touching pam
@2:49 Toby sounds like a Minecraft Villager
Now i can see why Micheal hates him💀
I immediately thought of Toby getting ‘turned on’ by seeing Nellie dressed up as him. I totally forgot they actually had ‘a thing’ going on. Nellie my least favorite character 😎😎
나는 크리드와 토비가 가장 웃겨요. 나는 섬뜩한 코미디가 좋아😂

0:58 i have never seen anything cringier
He could be a good character for Dexter
Who let-who let the lemonhead in here?
6:22 who is the big boy
My left ear really loved that one scene
The title should be cringiest rather than creepiest
DOES ANYONE HAVE A CAMERA HERE!
Dwight with the pig nose just kills me!
If the goal was to be progressively creepier, these are out of order.
Toby just made Dwight looks normal
I don't know if I'm reading her subtle reactions correctly, but Pam never really had a complete negative reaction to Toby's quirks, especially with the leg-touching scene. Maybe a bit uncomfortable but never completely rejected him. This sort of plays into how she's always had a bit of a thing for Toby. It's nothing serious, but she has mentioned how she thought he was cute. I think it's an interesting play on their friendship.
The original point of Toby was more about showing what a delusional jerk MICHAEL was, having such vitriol against someone who Michael believed was trying to ruin the "fun" of the office, when the poor guy was just doing his job. Gradually, as they decided to make Michael a more sympathetic (if still deeply flawed) man, the writers ensured that the audience felt the same way about Toby that Michael did.
Toby is the _real_ David Brent of the US series 😮😮
Awkward to say the least
5:18 im surprised that they didn't have creed trying to take a peek in the backround eavesdropping lol
2:35 Toby has a stroke from being so jealous
At 2:03 is that the only time Toby raised his voice on the show ? ha ha
Is no wonder why Michael hates him with his weirdness
You are the Toby of the comment section and everyone else is Michael.
Well of course it’s no wonder. Toby Flenderson is everything that is wrong with the paper industry.
Michael was way creepier though
@@wintersbabyyNo, Toby and Gabe were grade A creeps... Michael was just obnoxious and clueless.
@@redacted2275 As a woman, if you have a boss like Michael, you’d understand. Yes, Toby and Gabe were creeps, but Michael was way worse since he was the boss.
They ruined a lot of characters toward the end, but Toby was one of the worst. It was better when he was understated and Michael's punching bag, but every now and then he'd get one over on Michael, his unrequited crush on Pam was kind of funny at first and gave you hope that he'd find his own thing later on. The needy whiny dork he became was horrible.
2:06 Amazing how quickly a show can become dated with one simple line.
God, Micheal was right this whole time. Toby just sucks so badly.
