Since folks get stressed by large rooms, I split my lab into Specimen Lab and Sample Lab. If I'd thought ahead, I may have split the Medlab into a couple of rooms too. I think barracks definitely benefit from smaller rooms, if you check yours, you'll probably find folks get stressed in there. I'm not so fussed about the Power Room - the only folks who need to go in there are the military when the squarbs need some violence dealt to them!!
Loving this charlie!!! And yes, you should have a crew that STAYS in the base so they can process everything... But.. DANGER!! The enemy factions are MOVING IN!!!!!!
Hay Charlie! Loving the content been watching you for a while now keep up the great work! I did have a recommendation for the sleeping quarters. You could try repurposing the current large room for your mining or power since it’s something that could scale up quite a bit. And then opt for a more military barracks style housing of 2 beds and lockers per room giving your staff smaller quarters while still have 2 staff per room. Thanks again for working hard to bring such great content!!
I'm pretty bad at these types of games, but it looks like you may have over hired a bit at the beginning. Maybe use the first month or two to establish like 3 balanced teams, then use the rest of money to set up your base so you're not scrimping when you're on your own. Then later on you can branch out into specialized teams (engineer heavy for ore extraction, science heavy for expeditions to claimed planets, etc.) while keeping one or two of each class at the base for medical care, study, pantent writing, etc. It would help if they got passive xp for doing things around the base. Also, I'm not sure the one big barracks is a great idea. How good would your mental health be if you're trying to sleep in front of 30 people?
You love nurses, dont you? 😁In my playthrough I only have 3 and none of them are on missions ever. Injured people make them level up real fast 😎 Where you are now, you should sell smeltet ore and get a ICU. Then you'll be pretty good set up for survival. Love the series, keep em coming. One reason that 1 specific team got really mentally wxhausted because you sent them into a recurring mission that was high or medium difficulty to them since they are lower levels, based from the missions you tend to get a damage from your mental health if something goes wrong so thats that too, Also i think your mental health will also be easier to manage once you have alot more items and better equipment to give your gators their mental health boosting thingy. Im not sure if you like cheesing but you could also just do double doors and a wall for a make shift room (just random idea that would make your room revisions or room changes cheaper)
On the team card click the blue button in the upper right of the card to go to their target planet on the galaxy map. That way you don't have to fish for it.
Take a closer look at the foundry, has a feature your missing i think. Also each room shows you the efficiency (Left side panel). Cheers good content, ty.
Instead of claiming all of those planets in the opening, all you had to do was disconnect all of those worlds and reconnect it the one you wanted. It would have reconnected on the shorter path.
INFO: I am guessing that the regular bed does not or very slowly allow metal health. So getting the enclosed Bed with locker would be better as it does allow for metal health while sleeping per the description. Also would save you building walls or more rooms.
I think its hilarious that you have been playing this long and got this for into the game and you just discovered you can build walls. LMAO. I found that in first 5 min, only cause i demoed couple wall segment I shouldn't have. Kind of forced me to find it or accept what I did. NEVER!!!! I would rather restart then admit defeat. LOL Keep going I'm REALLY enjoying it
I’m so invested in this game….Still have yet to pull the trigger….Maybe it’s the reviews that are scaring me but from your videos, I don’t see any of the problems mentioned….Thoughts Charlie?
I don't care about reviews from old versions. I just play a game and have fun. I let you guys decide based on the videos what you think of the games. :)
Have you tried forcing the ones that are struggling to take care of their needs? You did say at the start you were going to mostly ignore it but it could just solve your problem for free.
Base personnel assigned to critical equipment should never be on an away team. That you keep assigning them away is different to how I understand the game efficiency/RP realistic way to play is.

The desk in the medbay makes kind of sense to me. That chair is the patient chair, when he sees his doctor. You need acess to that.

Perfect timing!! Train ride home and perfect entertainment❤ I hope the troopers are healthy
Since beds can be placed against walls, just replace every other walkway between the beds with a wall, so you have a series of three wide rooms.

If I am not mistaken, the beds that you have right now don't improve mental health, only the better ones do it.
That's why I'll be upgrading them. :)
Sometimes teams are bad because the members don't get along. Check their affinitybwith each other.
Eagerly waiting for next episode

Doesn't matter, I'm gonna have all these planets anyways

More team members that can carry everything should be quite a booster for getting more samples for patents…. 😊

All my 'exploration teams' have 1 medic, 1 scientist and 1 soldier. Obviously I replace the scientist or medic with an engineer for for mining worlds.
I coudn't ressist, I've also purchased the game. :D
You may want to take a better look at the foundry
Hope Almeida gets help :D
