Sony SW7600GR SWL

This is a listening Video that shows some but not all the features and menu items of the Sony SW 7600GR Radio. I got this off ebay for about 73$ last week. It has a very sensitive receiver and a good quality speaker in my opinion. Some notes to consider. it does 0.15 mhz to 30.0 mhaz and 86.7mhz to 108 mhz fm. It can do either LSB or USB, AM, CW, and W-FM. It does receive and decode FM signals. I made a mistake by calling the tuning buttons a "wheel" I tend to think the tuning layout as part of a wheel. Ignore that comment. This uses a Tuning array of 4 buttons, Two 5khz +/- and Two smaller step 1khz -/+ buttons. You can Scroll with either however the radio does mute. When you hold down and scrub scroll with the 1Khz buttons the radio does not mute, making it decent for dialing in a signal. The Fine Tune wheel takes so practice as this radio is not a precision HF / SW radio in the ham radio sense.

Filmed on a Panasonic GH2 @ 24 FPS, 500 Iso, 2700k White balance at an aperture of 7.1 with a 14-42mm lens. Audio is capture via a sound devices 302 mixer and routed from a mixer bag to a Zoom H6 and from the zoom h6 to the Zoom H2n using its 4 channel setting with side microphones engaged for room ambient sound. The Voice mic is a AKG P420 Microphone inside a shock mount with a wind screen. The record setting from the Zoom H2n are @24bit 48khz.
