When I hear Keith play, to me, it truly demonstrates the adage "art decorates space....music decorates time" What a master artist and I love listening to him produce beauty.
We are indeed privileged to have such a creative human being in our midst. Listening to Keith Jarrett is one of the most profound musical experiences l have experienced. He is truly a Master of Sound.
Listening to K.J. has reminded me of the endless brilliance and love within me...each of us. Also, I use my presence to experience K.J.' s music tp remind me of the other musical, literary and other very personal doors I can risk opening every day.
I venture to say that this is Jarrett´s most mesmerizing work: An incredible amalgam of intricate yet beautiful passages and melodies. It is impossible to think that Jarrett improvised this nectarous spiderweb. Impossible to me, but not impossible for prodigies like Jarrett. Those scales at "23:44/23:40" are angelic, and this crossing: "27:35/29:30" is one of the most beautiful moments in the history of piano music.
The contrapuntal rhythm, chordings, and, melodies and harmonies, are really quite something; as is the entire concert; which, seems to me, to be so very relevant in-spite of the way the world has seemingly evolved, yet, is so very bereft of the sense of care for all in this world; astounding concert! thank you for uploading this profound piece of work. This is Keith Jarrett, and, hope he is alright; best wishes to him and all listening to his music. All the best.
the only thing i regret that me as a cologne body born and grow up that time....didn t know about him that time and missed the unique chance to join and experience the cologne concert....guess it was fantastic to be present
my bigges problem with keith jarretts music is....i do not know which one i prefer and love the most...also encounter new performances via you tube....makes it not easier....but for sure...there are some highlights....koeln concert, vienna concert , and i love the hamburg 1988 ...and here....and and...so that is not so important bec i listen them all more than once...how nice to have a keith jarrett on the planet
