I went for the Frostbite and Ysgramor's Birthright combo and I just finished farming all the set pieces. Tip for anyone trying to farm Ysgramor's ice staff, go to shroud hearth barrow (delve) and farm the boss, he drops a unique ice staff called Ysgramor's Jakolars staff.
I'd use a Lotus Flower morph from the Green Balance Skill line instead of the consuming trap. It heals for every light and heavy attack and also buffs your damage. Embrace the lotus blessing, causing your Light Attacks to restore 1320 Health and your fully-charged Heavy Attacks to restore 3960 Health to you or a nearby ally for 20 seconds. While active you gain Major Prophecy and Savagery, increasing your Spell and Weapon Critical rating by 2629.
Warden was one of my first attempts at eso. I am just really getting in to the game now and came across a video on ice staff tanking and this damage build as well. This damage build has been a ton of fun. Right now I am running frostbite and ysgramor with a random 2 piece monster set for aoe (until I get iceheart shoulders). Made it with the intent of being a tank, so he's a nord. Debating a race change token to help some with sustain and damage
I like how there are a bunch of different synergies going in here that feed into the class trees. Wish ZOS would do more of that, Storm Sorc with a bunch of gear and ability synergies would be cool.
Thank you for making this video. I’m researching a niche setup for my first warden. I do refuse to use beast trap though because I’m just sick of using it and it feels boring to use.
If you switch place between Fetcher Infection and Barbed Trap so you have the Fetcher Infection on front bar you would get 20% crit damage from your Advanced Species passive and still have access to the additional 10% crit damage from Minor Force from the Barbed Trap you have on the backbar.
You then lose all the fighters guild passives you'd get for having a fighters guild ability slotted, which I'm pretty sure is stronger than an extra 4% crit damage
@@Dingus2 Personally I just slot Camoflaged Hunter on both bars to make sure I have a fighters guild ability and it gives constant upkeep of Major Savagery and a good upkeep of Minor Berserk.
Hey, I got Warden. Healing & protecting myself, with Werewolf as fun to class when I got 300 Ultimate ;) Amazing! Go in ESO absolutely solo by choice is what I need it
I just wish that Cliff racer was an ice spike. Either way, Cliff Racer is such a cool and useful skill. Just got my PVP toon up to CP levels. (Nord for lore reasons, with my favourite outfit). Was absolutely shredding in BG’s. Less good now I am in the big leagues, but still doing good.
Which Class would you say is general better for all Pve Content? I can’t decide between Stamblade or Magsorc with 2 Pets as Main Char i like both the same.
Lets gooo! Was so looking for this, tnx for haveing so many good build ideas usually allways check your channel first when I look for a good solo build idea 😁 gj as allways man 👍
ey, another frostwarden signal boost! I've been having fun with my pure frost frosty, basically the same build as your's with less visible animal skills.
Definitely your most unique/best build you’ve made so far IMO! Some of your other builds were more or less just dw on front with dawnbresker/barbed . But this one is unique, amazing set selection, utilized arena sets, 10\10
Hey Lucky ghost I love your videos man. I actually think I met you before out in the deadlands I was the rondo who told you your armor looks sick lol. Anyway please make a video on a heavy attack magplar build if possible. I love this whole frost mage theme I def want to try this now lol
Hi, ive just started a Mag Warden im confused to why when casting screaming cliff racer i have the same 2 buff icons displayed and not just the 1? The tooltip says 10 seconds of weapon damage and the icon buff shows the same 2 buffs with the same timer for both icons?
Would you consider the Nunatak monster set to be comparable to Iceheart, in this case? The set focuses more on crit damage than on crit chance, with that Major Brittle status effect. And one line of armor could work out to being as good as a small but frequent damage shield (small compared to a tank's defensive abilities, I mean)..? I have no idea, cause I'm not sure how one would go about comparing the numbers there, apart from playing both for a while and just seeing which feels better.
I feel like you'd get more mileage out of 2 piece trainee rather than bandit's guile. Even with crit being generally more valuable than max mag, trainee gives more than the standard max mag line AND more health than standard lines too.
I don't have all the dlcs. I currently have greymoor, morrowind, imperial city and ascending tides. What other armor sets do you recommend for people who can't afford the new dlc armor?
I'd sub for one month and farm it, then unsub. short of that, just put on a 3rd piece of assassins guile. you've already got iceheart and self healing in this build. cheers!
Would a Charged [Master's Ice Staff] with a [Frost Glyph] on it maybe be a redundancy, considering [Destructive Touch (+morphs)] is a _guaranteed_ Status Effect, and _always_ deal elemental damage appropriate to the staff-type? So maybe Sharpened + [Fire Glyph] would be more 'bang for the buck'..? I know that might seem counter intuitive but, in ESO one can be both frozen _and_ on fire. Just a thought.. I put this build on my newly-leveled Warden and...holy crap! Even without most of the essential skills maxed out yet, the damage is nuts. Thx! o7
For a Magicka Warden, any reason you're doing Wild Guardian (bleed damage) over Eternal Guardian (magicka damage)? Eternal also does 150% more dmg to enemies under 25% hp instead of just 100%, but it doesn't stun enemies.
Sounds like less frost warden and more beast warden lol. I did have an idea of using all the frost abilities on my front bar but sadly it doesn't have any real attack based spells aside from the ultimate and the ice spikes. I may have to give up on that plan.
Hey great video , came back after 3 expansions, so much has changed . Leveling a Warden , was wondering is this build strong enough to solo skyreach for my friends that are new to the game and want to power level ? Heard it is still ok place to do but there is a new area to power level peeps !
Thanks to another video I saw if you don't quite hit three for the assault line, you can also fix walls and doors to get alliance points and level the line.
Howcome in the video you say use frost reach but on the written guide you say use destructive reach? I’m new to this so are they the same or are they different?
It's because of new patches releasing. If the video guide and written guide are different, you should follow the written guide because it will always be more up to date
Why use Frost Reach to apply the Chilled Status effect to one enemy when you can use Winter's Revenge to apply to Chilled to groups of enemies? Then, replace Frost Reach with Force Pulse, and now Force Pulse hits 3 enemies with every hit. Then, since this is a solo frost mag build, why use Screaming Cliff Racer, Barbed Trap, or Deep Fissure? I get the Animal Companions passives and Fighter's Guild passives, but all 3 are way too slow for Solo content. They are good if you are soloing WBs, but if your goal is clearing trash as fast as possible, just go 100% frost on your top bar, Force Pulse, Winter's Revenge, Unstable Wall of Frost up front. It clears trash very fast. Bird of Prey is good, and then one of misc one with good passives, like Inner Light or even Barbed Trap like you have, then the Bear is good, but Ice Comet is also good. With 4 frost abilities up front you are really taking advantage of your frost passives, both from the Warden and the Frostbite Set. Your build looks excellent for WBs, but for trash it's a bit slow - it can do massive dps but only after a 3-4 seconds, and before that happens, a pure Frost mage build will already have everything dead.
Guide on the site is still a bit outdated, uses old ults for both bars in lineage section. Other than that, oh what a great build. Relatively easy to obtain all the gear. I just tried it for a couple of hours, and it looks like it’s more capable in terms of damage output even in not optimised gear, rather than solo stam nightblade in dungeon gear from your guides as well (pillars and aegis). And that one is muuuuch harder to get. Thanks anyway for both! They are of great help and give some goals to work for in this game. =))
I try not to "grind" new characters. I usually just start a new toon and do the delves, public dungeons, shards and books in a zone and once I hit lvl 10 do the daily dungeon finder then off to a main to do something else. One zone doesn't take long and you can do a few of the main quest along the way. So when it hits 50 it has a crapload of SP's ready to do whatever. I try to save zone story quests and guild quests for once I hit 50 since they are a good chunk of xp for pumping out a few CP's when enlightened. I did one toon using the dolmen farming during a double xp event and aside from being bored out of my mind you really don't learn anything about the class, if it's new to you.
When you say "solo anything" I'm assuming you mean overland and most vet HM dungeons right? Because no one on this planet is soloing a trial, obviously
right, there are a couple of trial bosses that you can solo, but in general soloing trials is really just tickling a boss to death on a tank build. takes a couple of hours and is the definition of "not fun" lol
@@LuckyGhostESO yea, I wish we had more replacements. Like the Shulks are fine if you want like a druid themed build, so I wouldn't want to just replace it. I just wish we had an ice alternative that would also provide breach.

How would I do something like this for Warden ice stam build?

I feel like you'd get more mileage out of 2 piece trainee rather than bandit's guile. Even with crit being generally more valuable than max mag, trainee gives more than the standard max mag line AND more health than standard lines too.

than for the great and fun build !
what would you replace pale order ring for if you are not playing solo
any dps mythic you like, or you can wear two piece monster set, like iceheart or zaans

Magicka Warden solo build vs Stam DK solo build? Who you choosing?
Nice.
Wouldn't be better to slot in some points into health? So that way to not have 19k health. Just curious. Opinions?
Absolutely NOT......and 19k is plenty of health
What's the UI you use? (I guess it's a mod)
Just a heads up the images you use for maelstrom weapons says inferno staff rather than ice. had to do a double take to make sure lol
