What are rolling defects?
Defects in rolling are:
Wavy edges: This is due to roll bending. Edges elongate more and buckle.
Allegation: This is because of the Anisotropy of the material. Non-uniform deformation.
Surface defects: This is due to Inclusion & impurities in the materials.
Hence options 1, 2, and 3 are the defects in rolling.
What are the surface defects in rolled steel?
In general, the surface defects of strip steel, including crazing, inclusion, patches, pitted surface, rolled-in scale, scratches, and these defects have an impact on the aesthetics of the steel, but more importantly, they reduce the strength, toughness, corrosion resistance and wear resistance of the strip steel .

Which are the rolling problems in rolling mill?
The main causes of roll breakage are overpressure (that is, excessive rolling pressure), defects in the roll (non-metallic inclusions, bubbles, etc.), and stress field caused by uneven roll temperature.
How many types of rolling are there?
Rolling (metalworking) - Wikipedia
There are many types of rolling processes, including ring rolling, roll bending, roll forming, profile rolling, and controlled rolling.
What is cold rolled steel defect?
These are grazes, tears, grooves, or scratches of differing sizes that arise either during or after cold rolling. Cold-rolled strip abrasions run in the rolling direction and can be open or closed. Accidental surface damage is the primary cause of these defects.
What is rolling structure?
Structural shape rolling, also known as shape rolling and profile rolling, is the rolling and roll forming of structural shapes by passing them through a rolling mill to bend or deform the workpiece to a desired shape while maintaining a constant cross-section.
What is cold defect?
Cold shut is a casting defect when two metal streams freezes before meeting and fusing properly. It can be prevented by assuming sufficient superheat in the poured metal and thick enough wall is casting design.
What are examples of rolling?
Rolling motion is that common combination of rotational and translational motion that we see everywhere, every day. Think about the different situations of wheels moving on a car along a highway, or wheels on a plane landing on a runway, or wheels on a robotic explorer on another planet.
