    TM has always made sweet bikes with quality parts. The details, like the cooling fins on cases, gusseted swingarm & Olihns shock from factory sets it apart from the Big 5.

      Considering they are about 1k more expensive than typical bike from big 5 they seem to be good value. Their 2t developement is state of art also.

    I got the fuel injected 2021 TM 300 EN. Prior to delivery, a part of me wished I got the carb version but after a couple rides....I'm glad I did get the Fi.

    LOVE 2 strokes. Older guy here. My youth. Nice looking , sounding bike. Never rode it. Bike like this should stick to kick start. My opinion. Had to edit. Great video. Real trails not a fancy track. Wish test rides showed real world and not a nice groomed track %70 wont see.

    European dirt bikes are definitely killing the Japanese bikes. I think the Japanese makes are going to have to come up with a competitive two stroke off road bike to stay relevant.

    2 strokes are great trail bikes. Very fun, yet not nearly as powerful as 450cc 4 strokes so they are easy to ride.

      @@Tv-nv7st you may be correct on your number BUT. I have a ranch here in Texas w a 50 acre pasture, several times when we have a big crowd we put that shyt to rest. We will line em up and drag race across the pasture, its about 600 yards. I bought 2 04 KX500's when i knew that was the last, its close comin out but that big KX throw's dirt all over those 4T's from 3rd on. Its not even close either, and yes we can all ride. I think there's a little art to floggin a 500, most cant do it even though they think they are. You have to be able to control the violence, not hold back, when the front end comes up stay on the gas and feed it gears. I have been riding 500's since they came out, still have a RM465 as well, and there has yet to be a thumper that will hang in an all out drag, the KTM 525 has come the closest...Roost

  • @freddyfranchi

    Why they refuse to get EURO5 with direct fuel injection??

    • @federico297
      @federico297 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      At this time, direct fuel injection on 2 strokes is still too expensive to be put on a production bike. More than that, the TPI injection that KTM and TM use is not developed by them but is a "borrowed" design, so the 2 stroke injection development is actually pretty slow

    • @craigdavies8099
      @craigdavies8099 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      TM's are awesome, reliable, quality parts, very well made and a successful racing lineage. I've owned 2.
      Cannondale were a pile of shit that failed very quickly, so really confused why TM reminds you of them?

    • @Crazystuffyousee
      @Crazystuffyousee 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@craigdavies8099 - Dont get your feelings all hurt Craig... I was merely referring to the noticeably different quality and type of components TM uses over that of other more assembly line manufactures. Yes Cannondale had their fair share of problems which ultimately led to the company's demise, which is a completely different topic too. But that doesn't change the fact that they used quality components over that of assembly line type stuff found on the Japanese bikes they were competing with. Lets hope that TM can compete with everyone else out there.

    Carbureted is better then tpi, more power, more hit.

    • @lifeoutdoors3953

      Unless you ride hard enduro then tpi has its advantages

    • @TheRossillini
      @TheRossillini 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Life Outdoors that’s all I ride. The tpi is heavier and has more to fail on you.

    • @lifeoutdoors3953
      @lifeoutdoors3953 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@TheRossillini I agree with that man The whole reason I like to strokes is because of the reliability and now they’re getting closer to four strokes. When I’m out in the middle of nowhere I can’t take a chance of the failure. I just heard that people did say the less hit is easier in hard enduro. Carb for me too

    • @TheRossillini
      @TheRossillini 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Life Outdoors the sherco, beta, and tm still use it. Ktm was possibly forced into the idea of tpi due to the countries emissions standards in the country they’re manufactured in. I’ve ridden 21 husky 300tpi and the beta 300rr carb bike blows that thing out of the water in power and suspension.
