    It’s a nice bike, after my Beta is worn out I’m getting a TM. They are awesome

    The front brake line should go between the fork tube and wheel, not outside, else you risk something ripping your brake line out. You probably know this but I imagine your road racing muscle memory told you otherwise.

    Nice work to get a Rekluse in there! Next best thing to sliced bread. When your in a tight situation and need to hang on to the bars with all you’ve got and not need to be worrying about feathering the clutch with one finger, it’s just so nice to have. Love mine on my (Hulk Force) cable clutched Yamaha WR450.

    Good job on fabricating a recluse in there. Did you have any power valve problems before you put the rekluse in? Fix is to put an aux switch in that keeps the PV hot all the time. Otherwise if you stall the bike you have to rev it over 8k rpms to get the PV to reset. I know stalling isn't an issue with the rekluse but have you noticed it on restart? Bike will sound funny and have weak power until it resets.

      Hey! Sam hasn't had any PV issues on this bike. The power is almost immediate (for a 2T) and then very linear. Very linear but a very steep line as the top end power just screams.

      @@armyofdarknessmotorcyclesb2883 Thats not the question, the question is when the bike is shut off the power valve re-sets and is wide open . You need to rev it over 8k rpms before it will re-set. The bike will have no power until you do this.

      @@williamcrotts7054 im pretty sure that issue was addressed with the 22 model year bikes. I have a 22 en 144fi and it has had zero pv issues. The rear shock has been my ony issue with the bike. The seals leaked from day one and tm denied me warranty so i had to take care of it myself

      PV reset issues are not resolved. It doesn’t seem to be universal though.

    Nice. Would love to here your comparison to the more common KTM and Beta 250/300. Funny how all the old roadracers are turning to dirt bikes for fun!

    I didn't read it in your comments but probably heard this already, and I did hear you recognize that your rear brake is run lower than typical but son, that is excessive. Snag prone, hard to press down while standing, even harder if descending a step pitch and trying to feather the rear brake. When standing, the body gyrations to apply the rear brake can get tiring as you have to drop your butt down to get the leg and ankle to articulate enough. Add more standing drills to your skill set and you'll see what I/we mean. If all you do is sit and ride on level ish terrain you'd be fine.

    Can you have the option of mixing gas and the oil?

    • @armyofdarknessmotorcyclesb2883
      @armyofdarknessmotorcyclesb2883  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey! We don't know for sure but it looks like it would just be a question of bypassing the oil level switch in the oil tank and plugging the oil inlet on the throttle body. That said, the oil injection system is really clean and is the least smoky of any of the 2T bikes in our riding group.

    Sounds like an old 1970’s FIAT. Cool bike with Crap support from the factory

      To be fair, T-Bone and Earl's, the local Maryland TM dealer, fixed all the little teething issues with no fuss. Its a lot easier to change a seal and a push rod on a clutch actuator than it would be, say, polish the crankcase internals on a different brand to bring it up to TM spec. Sam is currently getting his Beta 350RR Race Edition set up so look for a review of that bike in a few weeks.

      Do people really reach out to "factories" for support? Anyone ever tried to call KTM or Honda factories for support?
      I've always thought you would contact your dealer.
