I recommend going to salem during the summer. Make it a few day stay and include boston if you can. I've been to salem multiple times. If you include drinks and souvenirs it can add up quick however if you spread things out with coffee or snacks you can bring the cost down. There are some awesome places to eat including good drinks and sweets. One of my favs. is a french patisserie called caramel.Fresh pastries and french breads like croissants, espresso, and desserts. I spent about 30-50 dollars a day to eat usually 10 - 25 a meal and how fancy the restaurant. Personally i recommend 3 things 1. Do research before coming. Where do you want to go or do, Historic/Fun/Tours/eat? There's a lot to do. form museums, Pubs, tours, shopping, party boat, ferry, haunted areas, movie locations and more. 2. Take the ferry to boston and trolley in salem. the trolley is a tour in itself and gets you around the historic sites near by. By taking the trolley you may get on or off whenever the day of ticket purchase. If you have a long day it so worth it plus many tours take the same route with variances like ghost tour or witch walk. 3. Know what's around and take time to go at your own pace. The Salem you were in was the touristy area there's also Danvers the original salem, look into it. many places are dog friendly and there are few bathrooms around so take that into consideration. lastly the locals know best. the best restaurants, bars, live entertainment and yes if you go at night many outside places will have live bands etc. many things are overlooked gems that's why you need a few days and look things up including youtube vids. and sites. It really helps to plan. there are best places to go in salem/boston online. I cant recommend salem during the summer / boston / and ferry enough. its awesome. If you go have fun and take some of my advice.
Salem, Sleepy Hollow, and Forks are all on my bucket list of places to see. I'd love to stay at Bella Swan's house, but I saw it's booked out 4 years in advance. I hope to go someday.
Hi, I don’t know if you would see this comment but I just wanted to let you know I’ve been in Salem ! October time it is just such a vibe there. I love fall time and fall time and Salem combine as the best thing ever. I literally literally love going to Salem me and my grandmother come and we’re starting a thing where we go every October I love Salem so much. I’m so happy that you visited.!🍂🍁
Hello I’m planning a trip with my wife to Salem this October, and suggestions on hotels cheep by the train or car rental to Salem. I heard it’s cheaper outside of Salem? Thanks
Have fun!!! We stayed an hour away from Salem (middle of MA) and it was WAY cheaper. I want to say the hotel was around $1,000 for 4 nights. It was a nice hotel too. I hope you guys have so much fun!!
@@rockellbeauty omg we had to park quite far away! We were across the bridge in a random neighborhood 😂 I’d say it took about 15 minutes to walk into Essex streer
You mispronounced “Gables” 🤦🏽♀️ and “Max and Danny’s house” is not a “cute little spot” it’s a residential neighborhood. I live in Salem and my family is in that area, it’s pretty annoying to have tourists wondering that way. I’m not directing that towards you, we appreciate that you at least acknowledged it’s an actual house, I just wish more ppl understood this.
That is cute the chime!
I could literally spend all of my money in the shops of Salem… it’s a dangerous game 😩😭
No literally 😂
my falem and i are planning on going next year this is making me so excited!!!
AHHH it will be so fun!
I enjoyed your video. You are natural and funny Alyssa. ☺️💕

@@jessrubio5890 no it really wasn’t terrible! The hotel was the biggest expense $1000 for the nights we were there

What? I have a ton of vids in the witch museum. Justice for anyone that’s ever paid to experience that mess. It’s such a scam. 😂
It was an interesting experience for sure 😂 the life sized dolls are a little spooky
