We were a Christian homeschooling family and I loved watching them deal with so many children and organize their schedule and routines. It helped me so much deal with my own “large” family of 7 children plus fosters. They helped me to remember to focus on my faith and that the Lord was in control and not me. I’m a senior now (mid 60s) and I still am grateful for all I learned through their family. No one is perfect. They have raised resilient children who can take care of themselves and aren’t reliant on the system or their parents to take care of them. That should be everyone’s goal in parenting. But it doesn’t need to look the same for everyone. Yet scoffers think the world should be viewed through their own personal lense.
I have watched your family since 14 kids and counting and I loved it and love your family! What happened with Josh is very unfortunate but it shouldn’t define your family! It doesn’t mean you all are bad people! I continue to love your family and pray for you all!❤️

I never blamed the family for Josh’s bad choices. I know some did and that’s so unfortunate but each family has something that they have to work through. I respect Jim Bob and Michelle very much and they’ve done a wonderful job raising all of their children. In my family there were 5 kids and I honestly don’t know how my Mom managed, but 19? I can tell you that I have learned so much from just watching the Duggars and I have no kids (unless you count furr babies), ❤ but still I wish they would come back on tv! I’m glad we can watch some of them here so that’s good!
I've always loved Jed's sense of humor and it looks like he's found a sweet wife who has a similar sense of humor, and that little guy sure looks like his dad! ☺ My family isn't perfect either but as parents we do what we think is best at the time, as I'm sure your parents did. My twins are the 4th set in 3 generations. My mom had twins, her mom had twins and so did her brother. They definitely did NOT skip a generation in our family 😊
My friends mom was a twin with a brother. She had 3 single girls. Two of the 3 had boy girl twins. Plus others in the family had twins in same generations.

I heard all the same "theories" on twins. But in the end God is our creator and He is the one in charge. I had 3 twin pregnancies. We totally lost 2 complete sets of twins, but our only daughter was a twin but we lost her twin. God was still in control and we look forward to seeing our Glory Babies when we get to heaven! Y'all hit the nail on the head concerning communication. That is one of the most important things in a marriage and letting God be in control. After 40 years, my husband and I can look at the other and almost know what the other is thinking.

When I first got married over 30 years ago I only had a few recipes under my belt. One of my first meals I through together for my new husband became a family favorite. I’m always learning new recipes and techniques in the kitchen.

I heard all the same "theories" on twins. But in the end God is our creator and He is the one in charge. I had 3 twin pregnancies. We totally lost 2 complete sets of twins, but our only daughter was a twin but we lost her twin. God was still in control and we look forward to seeing our Glory Babies when we get to heaven!
Y'all hit the nail on the head concerning communication. That is one of the most important things in a marriage and letting God be in control. After 40 years, my husband and I can look at the other and almost know what the other is thinking.
