I so understand what you’re saying about Jasmine G! I read By The Book and the entire Wedding Date series. Reading her series in order helps just a tad cause you make cross connections between characters and storylines: basically her books a easy, quick “let me get out this reading slump” books for me

I enjoyed the Tia Williams book (Love Song..), but I agree the ending was predictable and the ending felt rushed. I did appreciate the magical realism and the historical references.

I have a sample of a love song for ricki Wilde I haven’t gotten too and the emperor one that I did start reading, I also have a sample of by the book by jasmine but I haven’t read it yet either and I just got a sample of a necessary chaos based on your recommendation! My first time around, I didn't like 7 Days in June. It's definitely an acquire taste in my opinion. After my second read, I liked it better. I think the book needs a trigger warning tbh. I loved a Love Song for Ricki Wilde.
