These filters have worked perfectly. We got a Napa filter for my dad's 3500 and it would not fit. There was too much plastic on the top and the lid could not be closed.
@@TCSawmills Thanks. I read somewhere if the front filter doesn’t have the oval opening on the front filter, not to use it. I put a cheap Amazon filter on my last truck and started getting injector codes. Swapped it with a Napa filter (made by Wix) and codes went away. But, they’re double the price of the Duralast and also don’t have the oval opening…
Hello TC, I have a question! did your Duralast filter under the hood have any metal inside? The instructions on my FF818DL show some "steel" but mine was all plastic. What did yours look like inside? Thank you.
Thank you! First review I found that properly showed the access to the rear fuel filter.
Why are you using Duralast, GM parts, on a Ram/Cummins/Mopar?
Thanks for the video! Helped us out in a pinch.
Glad it helped
How about draining that back filter
Did you struggle to take the diesel fuel fliter on by the motor with this type of fuel fliter of duralast?
My 2012 6.7L don’t have that back filter
were did you get the carbide blades woodmizer is 5 months behind are the made in germany
Timberking has them for a few different sawmills
How have these filters worked for you? Any problems? Thanks.

Hello, no, the filter in the engine bay had no metal in it, just a filter material and plastic. The aft filter next to the fuel tank has a metal body.
