At that moment, to Lori and Shane, Rick really was the walking dead. I think they'd be less surprised to see him a walker rather than a dead man walking.

Nothing hit more than the first few seasons of this show. The character development and characters in general were amazing, the amount of times I cried was sad.
I hope you don’t mean it was sad that you cried. It’s quite the opposite. It’s healthy to be in touch with your feelings and emotions. It’s sad when someone continues to push down their feelings and never face them. It’s even worse when they expect others to do the same.

That was a really good scene. I just binge watched seasons 1-4 for the very first time a few weeks ago and that was definitely one of the best although tragic scenes. The scene where Andrea dies was also a huge one for me and the only one that made me actually cry. Seeing her journey from wanting to die, then being upset that she wasn't able to go out "on her own terms", to getting bitten and ultimately shooting herself and somewhat "going out in her own terms like she originally wanted to was so poetic and emotional for me. It was beautiful that she had Michonne was there with her too. 💔

They couldn't let a good thing die though so they milked the hell out of it even when it lost a sizable amount of viewership (it was still the most watched AMC show of all time even with the drop off of viewers). Sadly Carl dies and it really is retarded how it played out. I have no idea why they decided to kill him but when they did me and everyone I knew who still watched it had had enough.
If you think about rick and Shane's problems with each other were mostly Lori's fault I guarentee that if it wasn't for lori Shane would be alive rick and shane would have been unstoppable together
You can also think if it wasnt for Lori, Shane wouldn't have made it out of Atlanta. Too many what ifs but it's fun to think about what could have been.

Any problem that arose between Shane and Rick we're their own fault. Why would any of the allow a woman to manipulate them especially during a life and death situation. They both should have told her to stfu and work together to build the boy into the Zombie apocalypse John Connor.
It's actually because they fired the original show runner after season 1 blew up. His writing is unlike any other and he really knows how to humanize and add sentiment to dark gritty shows

@@maden9504 Unfortunately the later seasons really suck compared to the first 3 which are in my opinion phenomenal. They couldn't let a good thing die though so they milked the hell out of it even when it lost a sizable amount of viewership (it was still the most watched AMC show of all time even with the drop off of viewers). Sadly Carl dies and it really is retarded how it played out. I have no idea why they decided to kill him but when they did me and everyone I knew who still watched it had had enough.
If you think about rick and Shane's problems with each other were mostly Lori's fault I guarentee that if it wasn't for lori Shane would be alive rick and shane would have been unstoppable together
You can also think if it wasnt for Lori, Shane wouldn't have made it out of Atlanta. Too many what ifs but it's fun to think about what could have been.
@@seventythreedavid I mean lori did manipulate both of them using their love for her to turn them against each other even using Carl as a tool to further agitate the situation she knew Carl love his father but also loved shane she also knew rick loved his son and shane saw carl as his son you could see it in the way he was always trying to teach him how to survive I believe that lori developed a survival of the fittest mentality and she pit them against each other to find who was stronger

Any problem that arose between Shane and Rick we're their own fault. Why would any of the allow a woman to manipulate them especially during a life and death situation. They both should have told her to stfu and work together to build the boy into the Zombie apocalypse John Connor.

Favorite scene of all times and the look on Shane's face is like oh crap because he knew Rick was alive when he left him in the hospital

This is one of many heartwarming parts of the entire series. I wish they had more added, but this entire series is about family and survival.
It's actually because they fired the original show runner after season 1 blew up. His writing is unlike any other and he really knows how to humanize and add sentiment to dark gritty shows

I remember watching this episode the day it aired, can't believe a decade has passed. Watching TWD on Fox at 10 pm was incredible. So sad to see such an amazing show turn into something unrecognizable

I just finished the season eight episode eight and wow this hurts to watch. Didn’t even realise how much I loved Carl’s character
that ep was soo boring, i couldn't wait for carl to shut up and die. They really f[ked up the lure of the show when they killed him off, especially in such a poor manner.
