Your videos are so soothing and relaxed! Just started getting into anthuriums so I’m excited to watch the anthurium tour that you mentioned. I got into plants through my mom- she always had a love for plants and really wanted to get me into it, but I resisted until I started seeing at home jungles on instagram. Now we both love the hobby and have so much to talk about! Keep up the great work!
I've got the memory of a goldfish, so I tend to forget a lot of details. That's fun when re-watching a movie a couple years later, because it's almost like watching it for the first time. Though in most situations I'd rather just remember the original events, haha. I seem to make up for that by forming little conclusions about things and tucking that away in my brain. These conclusions may not always be correct, so I'll readjust if new experiences conflict with those conclusions. I've been noticing suggestions for your videos here and there, and I've been avoiding clicking them. The tucked away thought I had was "I don't like her channel". I couldn't remember what I watched that made me think that, but I do remember it was like a month ago. I decided to give this video a try, and I found I enjoyed hearing about your experiences and seeing your personality. I started questioning why I've been avoiding your channel, so about halfway through watching, I decided to look at your older videos for clues. "Oh, I see". A month ago your channel barely existed. So the "problem" was that you need more content! I'm subscribing so I can see how you remedy this issue. Jokes aside, I feel like you're on the right track. With your collection and experiences, it seems like you've got a lot to offer viewers. I like that you've got an interest in plants outside of just tropical plants. Variety is the spice of life! I can see how the customer service experience that you mentioned lines up with how you carry yourself. It's great that you can start this as a fun hobby/passion project, and the income is not a necessity. I think that gives you more freedom with how you approach it. If it does well down the road, even better! Being open to criticism is awesome. Don't take everything too personally, though. There are a lot of "silly" people on the internet. Learn to spot them quickly and block/ignore. I wish you the best of luck! I look forward to seeing more of your content. Keep it cheesy! 🧀

Love this long video. I’m from South Africa. I’m a new plant mom. I used to work but now am at home taking care of my hubby who had a stroke and is bedridden. A lady that I worked with now visits once a week for coffee and she just loves plants. She regularly brings me a lantern and I am just loving taking care of them. Love you and your plants videos. You’re welcome :) Thank you for submitting a question 🌱 I think the key to keeping the browning away is balanced variegation, silica and lots of light with a good watering schedule (making sure you don’t overwater 🙃) haha we shall see if I can pull those off! I think you should get one!!
Love hearing about the different substrates for different plants. Not sure if I have missed it but do you have 'string of plants' ie hearts, turtles. If so what is your favourite way to grow them. I think the repot and chat went well to 🌻. From Australia

I've got a few pieces of feedback that you might find useful. I think the difference in volume between your dialogue and the music (intro, outro, 5:00) is a bit too drastic. I'd say you want a fairly consistent volume throughout the video. It's sort of like when you watch a show with ads, and the ads kick in super loud every time. Then if you turn down the volume, you can't hear the show when it's back on. If you had to prioritize one thing with volume, I'd say dialogue is most important. Also on the topic of audio, it might be good to compare the volume of your video against videos from other channels to see how the volume compares. So instead of ads being really loud, this would be like the volume going up and down every time you changed channels on a TV. This isn't necessarily an issue with your channel. I just thought it might be worth mentioning. The last thing is related to chapters. I always appreciate when a creator takes the time to add chapters, and it looks like you added a bunch of timestamps for chapters. It seems they may not have been applied to the video. I see questions 1-12 listed under "Key moments" instead of "Chapters" with questions after 60 mins falling off. I don't see any chapters showing in the video. See if this helps: (1) Move the timestamps to the left side and the titles to the right. (2) Start "Intro" at 00:00 instead of 00:01 (3) Use hours when over 60 mins. (1:01:42 instead of 61:42) Cheers!

What did you sprinkle on the baby hoya roots just before planting? Also, with a newly purchased plant, do you immediately repot and check the roots, soaking them in the peroxide solution?
I sprinkled Great White Mycorrhizae on the root system - which is beneficial fungi that strengthens the root system and creates a symbiotic relationship between the roots and the substrate :) With a newly purchased plant, I usually let it acclimatize to my conditions (wait until it has new growth) before I repot. This case I did not as I wanted to pot it up for my video 😆 I soak roots in my peroxide solution when I chop off root rot and just want to make sure it doesn’t spread at all 💚 Thank you for watching 🌟
