Sorry for the later upload guys! It’s been a busy week full of unexpected events 😂 I hope you enjoy my extra long video 🤍✨
I really enjoyed this vid! Loved every thrifted pot; my fave is the roses-rimmed bowl. Watching repotting vids are relaxing to me. Thanks for sharing your day with us!
@@carolstuff thank you Carol 🤗 That is my fave too!! 😍 You’re so welcome! Thanks for taking the time to relax and watch my video - I appreciate you very much 💖
This just makes me wanna go thrifting and plant shopping 🥰
Hahaha it’s so much fun!! Do it and show me what you got 👀
I really like the pot with the yellow roses. Very sweet. 🏵
Me tooo 😍😍💛💛
Love the yellow one with the paint drips on the side even though my favorite colour is blue like you.
Thank you!! I thought that one was super cool 💛
Well now I’m going thrifting immediately! U found such cute little vessels 😍💚
Thank you Erin 💜 Have fun thrifting 😝
Slowly starting to get into succulents. Now I know who to go to for questions! 🎉 great video!
Thank you Kayla 💜 I appreciate you watching ✨
I enjoyed this so much I started to repot as well. Sorry about the root mealy bugs. Yikes.
Thank you love 🥰 I’m glad they were just on the one cactus but sad I had to let that cute cactus go 🥺
Nice plants! Yes, using the spoon pointed away from the plant to place the soil into the pot is a game changer, right?! Also, instead of lifting that stiff plant to try to get soil under there, use the end of the spoon to push soil under there instead.
Oooo good idea!! 😬💗 Thank you for watching Deb 🥰🌱
Not done watching but WHAT A HAUL!!! Those pots you picked up were so so cute. I would’ve been a menace at that thrift store, my partner would’ve been sick with the amount of pot so would’ve grabbed too 😮💨😂
Thank you!! Ahahaha right? I went a little overboard 😂🤭 Thanks for watching 💚
Put the lithops in a mix that’s about 90% pumice (or whatever grit you have) and use tweezers or a toothpick to tuck the roots down. You can expect to water them about once a month, unless they are splitting. Sometimes they split on different schedules, in that case you can use a syringe to spot water the ones that aren’t splitting. Essentially the pot should be dry two or three days after watering, that’s how you know your mix is correct.
This is very helpful!! Thank you so much ❤️
People are afraid of watering lithops because they arrive from the nursery in peat heavy mixes, but if they are in grit it’s almost impossible to overwater them. So they kill them by underwatering.
@@wootlesswocks this makes so much sense 😂😂
All I could think about after the root mealy's is. I hope you changed next year. You're spoon and sanitize the area and washed your hands, Because route mellie's are so contagious. You may have said so, but I was having my own plant emergency right after you found them
I did all of the above 😂 No messing around over here! 💗 I hope your plant emergency went well ✨ Thank you so much for watching 🪷
i think thats a variegated string of tears not pearls because the shape is tear like not round... watching from the Philippines...
Oh interesting!! Thank you Rowena 💚✨ Hi from Canada 🇨🇦
I really love your vids and hauls! Currently studying for my nursing final and I've had your vids on in the background! Do you think you'll ever get into carnivorous plants in the future?
Aww thank you 🥹 Good luck with your final!! I’m not too sure if I’ll get into carnivorous plants - I did recently purchase a ping! I’ll show it in an upcoming video 🪷
I would love to see a begonia video if you have any. Lately I’ve gotten a couple of them. Would love to see the Ping too! 💚🌸
@@Yoliplanting thank you 💗 I do have some begonias!! I will definitely do a begonia video 🥰
I’ve heard that root mealies and normal mealies are actually the same thing! The only way I’ve truly beaten mealies before is chopping the roots away from the plant and soaking in horticultural soap then rerooting and planting again.. it’s an intense treatment but a one and done treatment in my experience! 🥹
Oh interesting!! I always thought that they were different 😂 I may or may not have panicked a little 😬
@@PlantedinPlatinum 😅🙈 definitely ok to panic. Mealies suck 🤢
