They had 3 C-F players in the West: Jokic, AD and Towns. You could put Sabonis ahead of Towns I think, but All-Star is a popularity contest and MIN had the best record in the West at time time I would have put Sabonis ahead of Towns. Then the Forward position was a little suspect: I think Sabonis would go ahead of Paul George or even Lebron. But again, it's a popularity contest. Certainly Sabonis should have been honored this year.

@@paulbunyan9436 yeah we know he struggled against Looney, but somehow you're extrapolating that to mean he can't hang with ALL bigger centers? Go look what he's done against Jokic and AD this year

I for once disagree. I know its a popular take right now to call sabonis underrated so I dont expect many people to agree with me on this one. But for me personally I dont think a player who ist actually bad not just average at both 3pt shooting and defense can be top 2 option on a real contender.

Keon ellis is gonna change that narrative. Kings have a secret weapon on the perimeter. Dudes an absolute menace and going to be a huge part of the kings defense in the playoffs. When ya see it later think back on this comment 😁😁
