Great work! Glad at least someone is giving Sabonis credit for his incredible season. The west is so competitive this year that people have forgotten about the Kings; they were so fun in last year’s playoffs.
Nice, a Post2k vid on my favorite player on my favorite team! Us Kings fans love Sabonis. If he can improve his defense and starts being more willing to score than usual, people will give him more respect, and most importantly he'll be even more valuable to our team than he already is!
Great video! Sabonis is so underrated and under-talked about it's disgusting! I think the fact that he's behind Jokic is a big part of the problem. Jokic is just on another level, but that shouldn't take anything away from Sabonis. But I also think Sabonis' number of TDs this season shows the problem with the triple-double stat. I mean, many of Sabonis' TDs are like 13-14-10. Meanwhile, Jokic has had 30(+)-12(+)-9 many times this season. Usually, the Jokic stat line is much more impactful and, therefore, better. But one is considered a TD while the better one is not. In other words, there can be pretty "bad" TDs, especially if the player has missed a lot of shots and/or played bad defensively.
Sadly we will never know. But I agree, a prime Arvydas in the NBA wouldve shocked the US Basketball world! 28/15/6 in the 80's easily... he wouldve given Bird/Magic and a young MJ a run for their money!
@@KTK01 he has the ability but he doesn’t shoot with volume. Makes me believe you can’t go to him down the stretch and expect good results. He gets his points within the offense. Jokic can get his whenever and against whoever.
If his father didn't have injury issues, he would be the best center of all time. Solid fundamentals, genius court vision, amazing decision making. So glad his son is taking his footsteps!
I agree that Sabonis is underrated. Sabonis should be an Allstar, and this season (with Embiid not available) he should also be on the 3rd Team if it comes to All NBA. They snubbed him out of one thing, lets hope he gets at least the 2nd. He is a great player, but not a Superstar. Cause lets be honest... 70% handoffs on his assists is a bit different from the passes Jokic or Luka do every game. But the biggest problem is his scoring. Yes, he shoots 60%. But he just doesnt take enough shots, specially late in close games, to be a true Star. So to say it short, yes, he is underrated. No, he isnt a true Superstar. With him as the best player, Sacramento will not win a chip. I would even argue that Fox is more important in PO games then Sabonis... not the better overall player, but more important.
After watching this video, went back and watched your Luka MVP video. In this video, you also showed Jokic's incredible number of OWS, and I would like to point out that Jokic is 5th in defensive rating this season, and Luka is nowhere to be found, showing why Jokic should be MVP
@@toshirohitsugaya857 is it? it shows their defensive skill compared to their team, and it shows Jokic has the best defensive impact of the entire Nuggets team
@@matt-parkers-evil-twin Absolutely useless using only this metric. It puts him above perenial DPOY like Bam and Davis, and spoil he ain't a better defender than both for example
I disagree that he's overrated. Someone on twitter tracked the assist type of prolific passing bigs (jokic, sengun, bam, sabonis etc) and 46% of Sabonis' passes are handoffs. And dont get me wrong, its still creating offense, but his assists are massively inflated. There is a 3 minute reel from just the month of march where hell hand it off, then stand still and watch the reciever take 3+ dribbles. There was one assist he got that was truly egregious. I believe it was vs the mavs, he had a tap out on a defensive rebound that ended up in davion mitchells hand, who was inside the 3 point line, davion then sprinted all the way down the court, weaving and dodging defenders, scored, and sabonis was credited with the assist. As for his rebounding numbers, again, he's still getting the rebounds, which has value, but those too are inflated. Compare him to Jokic for example, who has multiple good rebounders along side him. Sabonis doesn’t, and part of that is by design because they like to have hin grab and go like russ used to, but the difference is, among the top rebounders in the league, sabonis has by far the highest uncontested rebound%. Hes still a good rebounder, but leading the league is misleading. Im not saying sabonis is trash, but he is a fringe allstar kind of guy, not a star. And that's okay, it's still better than 80% of the league. Although I will be a hater for a second and say him being 6th in mvp odds is egregious. Guys like Brunson are EASILY more deserving
Like Sabonis your YT channel is the most underrated NBA channel out there. Another great video.
Never watched a video from this channel. happy YT recommended. just subscribed 👍
thanks bro :)

gotta cash in my ticket now. this has been the only channel I've sat and binged for YEARS. manifesing you getting big rn 🙏
man that means a lot. thank you bro
Sabonis is most versatile NBA player ever
It pisses me off how this guy wasn't even named an all-star over other sus guys
Agreed. Should have been Sabonis over AD, KAT, or PG.
Man tf another banger video broski doesn’t miss
Dude, you are doing an amazing job with this videos. Keep going

I hope that your channel gets more subs. You deserve it

Sabony so good bro
Bro @Post2k, your production value is so damn high@ How do you only have 4k subs? IS this a second channel of your or something?

We call those Sombor Doubles and Jokic really racks em up
The numbers do not support "on another level". Jokic is just better, but not to be on another level. Compare those or rewatch the video.
Bro I thought you had like 162k Subscribers damn the editing is FYEEE
appreciate you bro :)
thats insane....
Sabonis playing when he is trying to avenge is dad is the best player of all time.

Sabonis is always gonna be in the shadow of Jokic and be known as a Walmart joker 😂
Drexler syndrome
He’s Jokic without the offensive game.

How do you do the charts and graphs man? theyre so cool trying to make some better graphs for a work presentation lol. Keep up the great work btw

thank you bro
Because he’s on the kings. We’d happily take him on the Celtics and trade porzingis for him. We need a center

Maybe make video about Dani Avdija?

Defensive Rating is an atrocious stat player by player.
@@toshirohitsugaya857 He's the best defender on his team by rating, so has the best defensive impact. Nobody else from Denver is close.

A triple double with 11 pts is not that good. Sabonis is the king of minimal impact triple doubles.
double doubles are the most fake stat, averaging 19 and 13 on a mid kings team, saboner isnt underated, he just isnt as good as u think he is
