Nice job! Did you power the OBA Sound Module with another lipo battery or did you tap the power from the ESC? Do you have a video on exactly what you did for your install? Thx!
Hi N Fortune. Thanks a lot! The OBA Module is connected like in the Traxxas Wiring Diagram, no extra LiPo. The Power comes from the ESC. Sorry, I don't have a video from the build.
Grauer Stecker vom OBA an Kanal 2 (Gas/Bremse).
Just put a slash together with the HPD racing scheme. My GF made the decals, but do you know where you can get a higher quality one for DL? Once I get a UDR and upscale, I'm afraid it might not do well for the door HPD decal.

Hi RC Cruzin, yes it works well! The throttle line is looped through. From the receiver to the OBA and then to the ESC. And these signal lines always work with 5V (+-S), no matter if 4S or 6S is connected.
@@MrHondaful great and thank you so much for your tip and response , one last question and hope you don't mind can you take some photos or make a video on how you hooked everything so I will have a visual idea coz I also have a UDR and a slash that has OBA and wanting to put the module in the UDR. thanks again
@@fccmbc87 Oh, sorry for the delay! Please search for "traxxas oba wiring diagram", then you find the original diagram to put the things together or follow this link ( www.manualsdir.com/manuals/714719/traxxas-58034-2.html?page=10 ). You can put all together like in this Slash OBA Manual. You also need the Traxxas 6350 Transmitter to "start" and rev up the Motorsound while you in neutral.
Hi Rcsniper77, I use the stock Receiver combined with the Traxxas 6530 Transmitter (4-Channel) to rev up the Motorsound while the System is in neutral (red switch on the Transmitter).

@@devonwolff2278 ...and you need different speaker... The OBA comes with Vibrating Speaker that need the Lexan Body for resonance. It sounds bad in the UDR!
Hi Will, that´s correct. I´ve changed the Transmitter to this one from the TRX-4 (Traxxas TRX6530 TQi 2.4 GHz 4 Ch. Link Wireless) and bind it with the original Receiver.
If you had watched the video carefully, you would have seen it at second (!) 59. Visaton SL 70 NDV, 4 Ohm, max. 15W. Two of them connected to the Traxxas onboard audio system 😉
@@k1ller_o5c4r4 I used approximately the diameter that Traxxas uses for the original vibration speakers and that I had in my tinkering box (?). I soldered this and covered it completely with shrink tubing.
Nice build didn't even know that Honda has their own truck. Thumbs up
Thanks a lot! And now you're in the know... ;-)
Great build dude, love the paint job and the OBA! Nice bit of sand and dirt bashing! Liked and subbed!!!
Thank you so much, that makes me proud 😊
All you need now are a set of sandpaddle on the rear. They will make a big difference in the loose fine sand.
That's right, maybe next time... 😉
Nice video 👍 looks like a good time
Thanks a lot! Yes that's right 😊
Traxxas UDR + texel, always +1
