It had me really examining Mazda as an Audi-alternative. More fun to drive than an average Q7, with a nicer interior design. The transmission clunkiness was a bummer, but it's not a deal breaker

I love Mazda and all they have done to their premium platform, but I am afraid, I am just not into SUVs, if only they gave us a Mazda 6 on this platform.

After being a decades old Toyota 4Runner purchaser. I recently ordered a 2025 Mazda inline 6 turbo, with my interior color specifications. The Mazda is more luxurious, has a 6 cylinder, and looks great. And, what a great price point. However, Mazda if you are listening, you could up the military discount!
Hey Miles, really enjoy these day in the life videos. Got an idea, maybe in one of your future videos you could do a day in the life with a 2 door Jeep Wrangler JK and what its like to live with a modified lifted off roader.
The CX-90 my aunt had for 6 months came with a digital rear view mirror, and its pretty cool! She gave me the pleasure of driving it in that time and it was very useful on long trips. It's an 800 dollar option, though.

I bought a Mazda Cx5 for my daughter … and (I’m a BMW owner and fan- when they’re not costing me $$ in repairs !). And find the Mazda fun to drive .. I forgot how well they drive …last one I drove was a Millenia 2001 when I lived in San Fran .. it was fun to drive in ,the roads around S Fran . What’s the town I Idaho with that Reuben .?. I might merit a road trip from Miami , FL
Mazda really knows how to make its vehicles enjoyable to drive, I agree. Good steering, platforms, and suspension
You mentioned that the center console is shallow. Does the bottom of the armrest cover have any gap to allow any additional height to allow something like a Advil bottle or hand sanitizer bottle?

I loved watching this review, but I personally think that this was poorly designed. The materials look nice right now, but I can guarantee you that it’s going to wear out so fast with kids. 7 seconds is WAY too slow for an inline 6 turbo, and that engine sounded terrible. Also, this falls in a weird place, I’m trying to decide if it competes with Lexus TX, Audi Q7, or Lincoln Aviator or if it competes with Toyota Grand Highlander, Hyundai Palisade, or Honda Pilot.
It’s 6.2 sec I tested…
This or the new atlas for a family of four ?
If you don't have something (else) fun to drive, maybe go with the Mazda. If you do, then I'd prefer the extra space of the Atlas
