Omegle’s a nasty site and it should be shut down tbh. They probably didn’t have a quality antivirus / firewall to begin with. The girl in the 3rd story gave remote access to Chris. That's how he was able to control her laptop. Technicians normally do it while helping people with technical issues bt that should be trustworthy either from the company or best friend. But, at the end, he/she stops having the access and gives back to you. Restarting or Turning off the computer will also stop the access.
It's a little unrelated, as it didn't involve a chat room, but my mother once woke up to find her laptop computer was on and a window of her sleeping was pulled up. I taught her how to disable her webcam. She didn't give access, so I think she was hacked.
@@CelticVictory I agree with u, its called camfecting. This is when hackers can take control of the webcam remotely. They do this by disabling the ON light (which normally shows us if the webcam is active). When our laptop is turned off its webcam can’t be activated. However, many of us keep our laptops in hibernation or sleep mode. In this scenario the device can be woken by a cybercriminal, and the camera turned on. So, we can either turn off the laptop or cover the webcam with something or just bent the top panel of the laptop with its webcam facing down. This will surely help.
Oh man all of those videos are freaking me out and I don't know why I do this to myself but the stories are sooooo deep and interesting. Respect for the content.
Lessons for each stories: -do not click on unknown links -do not try to impress anyone else but yourself especially not at the risk of your safety and do not go in to stranger's personal properties/homes -do not trust strangers and especially do not let a random stranger just take control over your computer/to any important belongings of yours Seriously these are the part of BASIC logic. How are these poor people have been raised?
Its highly advised to disconnect ur web cam or use a piece of paper and block out the camera view on ur laptop. I remember i was once on the dark side on the web using one of those anonymous chat sites. I was trying to promote a piece of Crypto software when i had a chat with a strange individual. At the end of the conversation the person stated that he liked my shirt, i soon realised he was watching me via my laptop camera, which wasn't my actual laptop, but one i had found and fixed from my University electrical bin. I ended up selling that laptop, i now place a piece of paper over the camera of my laptop. Yeah, be careful if you go to any 1-1 chat rooms. Unhook ur webcam or block out the camera view.
*Or* you just don't go on those sites at all, that's common sense. If people are dumb enough to go on them sites then the s*** that happens to them should happen to them.

When I was around 9 I was fooling around on Omegle and became friends with this young dude (maybe in his early 20s?) who I chatted with, camera and mic on, for around an hour. I can’t remember who asked, but somehow we ended up moving to Skype along with one of his friends. When my mom found out she was NOT happy-didn’t understand why at the time and was super frustrated. Now I’m glad she shut that down real quick.

Story 1 - is why you should never click a random link Story 2 - is why you should never agree to meet anyone from the Internet Story 3 - is why you should never trust anyone you meet online Basically don't trust the Internet at all!
i think meeting people on the internet is fine, just be smart about it. i would never meet up with someone (in a public place) ive never facetimed consistently or something
Thankfully, many people have learned not to share personal information online because of stories like these. Sadly, there are still many people who haven't learned and probably never will.
I'm pretty new to this channel & what I really like about this channel is theirs not to much commentary, like others (if any) love it. These stories are crazy, whew. God bless 👑🙏🏻🕊❤❤
Big lesson, not just to kids, but everyone. Never talk to random people on the internet. The internet may have a lot of abilities but this also makes it a dangerous and unpredictable place. Do not use social media too much and decrease your usage on social media. Only talk to people you know and you can trust.
That first story was obviously written by a Zoomer who never lived through a time where livestreaming video on the go to the internet wasn't even remotely possible (until fairly recently - 2015 or so). There is no way Random Hacker Guy could have shown them live video moving toward their house , and their internet connection could not have shown them live video anyway (bandwidth issues).
Preach. I actually think all 3 of these stories are fake and contrived. Either chilling scares is not a very creative storyteller or the people sending these stories to him aren't.
@@ADDrecords the way there were spikes in the road after he left was just too elaborate for me to the point where it seemed contrived. At least the way it was told anyway. It could be true. It could just be the way it's stated that made it hokey. I've heard of there being those spike strips put in the road but the way that particular story went just seemed made up.
That second story seems like an obvious fake. 1. The incompetent perpetrator did nothing to ensure he couldn't leave, not even lock the door, had the advantage and didn't even grab him. If I was about to get someone that way, I'd definitely be blocking the exit. And yet somehow we're supposed to expect this guy 2. Was so well prepared that he and his buddies had a spike strip in the road? 3. The dude miraculously swerved and avoided it. You can always yell which ones are fake because the writing is off.
The first one seems incredible faked. Omegle is completely randomized, and this person happened to not only have a camera ready at their location, but also knew where the spare key was? Unless that person had been monitoring them for weeks/months and knew their cadence and where things were, it just doesn’t add up.
Second one also seems fake. Narrator is surprised that a rural farm has internet. Back in the chat room days, internet came through phone lines. If a place could get landline phone service, it could get internet service. Yet the narrator specifically says he’s surprised the place has internet, not surprised the place has phone service, suggesting he doesn’t realize the two are one and the same. This seems like a story written by a younger person who wasn’t actually alive during the dial up era. His scenario of internet being less common in rural areas is more reflective of modern times, with mobile/cellular internet signals.
Agree, plus who has a spike strip handy for escaping cars? All three sound fake, maybe ChatGPT? At the end of the third story, the guy says he still doesn't know what happened with the laptop even though he specifically opens with how he let some random dude use his computer unsupervised. That is what happened to the laptop, my dude. Also the guy lights his laptop on fire and lets it burn up "completely" which sounds off to me, I feel like burnt machines don't even change shape much at all unless he is bringing some extreme heat.
Probably someone they knew/someone that recognized the two in the story. Happens more often than you’d think, as they entered in their city/immediate area.

Who clicks random links from a sketchy Omegle guy?
People in the 1st story did everything wrong lmao

Also how does hacks magically get the info on where the metal keys are with no tracking system in them
@@iluvyurbles because it's a poorly written fictional story.
@@mechboltxl4591 it's written like a small child who thinks hacking magically gives them all the info in the world on you
Exactly. They see some random person wandering their neighborhood a quarter mile away on video (knowing the persons intended destination) and don’t immediately run up and call the police? Yeah. Seems legit.
Those first two kids literally let someone in their same town ip log them, that’s crazy.
Bruh the guy in the third story is hopeless he willingly gave remote access of his laptop to a complete stranger and then left it without supervision you ask me he got lucky a lot of his personal information could've been stolen and used without him ever knowing about it.
That's not how ip logging works, you can't find somebody's address from it just the general area.
@@KratosisGod I believe that this was a woman.
It’s easy to pull an IP from Omegle, that only goes as far as telling what state you’re in

This is a lesson to be EXTREMELY VIGILANT online…..I was never a chat room person and have used Omegle maybe once in my life, but I never use my real name or reveal my location online
Factual. Emphasis on ‘random,’ too. The smaller your town is, the sketchier the person will probably be near your location.

Omegle’s a nasty site and it should be shut down tbh. It’s easy to pull someone’s IP from it though you can’t define their precise location just from an IP address unless, like in the first story, you do something stupid and open a sketchy link from a sketchy user. They probably didn’t have a quality antivirus / firewall to begin with. On another note that story sounds completely fake for the fact he/she is recording themselves walking up to their house breaking in. At that point, they’re basically asking me to pump some 5.56 through their kneecaps.

The guy in the last story set his laptop on fire because of TeamViewer instead of deinstalling it offline😂 the dude who was trolling him probably used "my location"on Google maps/street view on his laptop as he was gone to then show a picture of the front of his house.
So you think that dude had bad intentions?
@@rolinn777 its obvious that he just wanted to scare him (thats why he showed him pictures/videos of his room, face and housefront). i think thats it as far as bad intentions go. people i knew 15 years ago did that with teamviewer all the time....and thats why i used the word "trolling" because back then it just meant "fucking with people for laughs".

That first story has to be one of the craziest stories I've ever heard on this channel. Not the craziest, but definitely one of them. Way2freaking go bro, keep up the freaking good work!
yeah, crazy how fictional it is. clicking on any link isn't going to magically give someone your address, at most if it's a ip grabber it would give you an approximate location based on ip, no way they'd be able to determine your exact address within minutes of being connected on omegle. also why is this dude writing the story like he doesn't know how popular omegle is, it doesn't matter if you've never used it, you'd know. not to mention how he magically knows where the spare key is. cringe story.
@@vupt ik it's unrealistic, but it's still pretty fun to listen to. And it's a lot more realistic then those 'creepy footage found' videos. Those are where the cringe is really at.

That first story about the guy who somehow instantly tracked down a person from Omegle and came to their house with a camera on is super creepy.
More like fake!
@@themuslim5915 no you can easily do that if you pull someone's iP Address from an Omegle video Call. You can at least find someone's state, city, zip code, and coordinates from an iP Address. That's enough to track someone down. But it takes a while to find a full street address. Finding a street Adress even with all that info is usually impossible and it takes a long time to find. These stories really bring me to the edge of my seat. Keep it up💯
The girl in the 3rd story gave remote access to Chris.
Bruh your voice takes it to another level 📈

Lessons for each stories:
-do not click on unknown links
-do not try to impress anyone else but yourself especially not at the risk of your safety and do not go in to stranger's personal properties/homes
-do not trust strangers and especially do not let a random stranger just take control over your computer/to any important belongings of yours
Seriously these are the part of BASIC logic.

Big lesson, not just to kids, but everyone.
Never talk to random people on the internet. The internet may have a lot of abilities but this also makes it a dangerous and unpredictable place. Do not use social media too much and decrease your usage on social media. Only talk to people you know and you can trust.
Bro knew where the spare key was, ok
i love watching your videos
Such a good video. Found this about a year ago and that’s how I found your channel.

Another good one Mr. Nightmare!
I've heard of there being those spike strips put in the road but the way that particular story went just seemed made up.
you and mr nightmares stories literally made my primary school and middle school
That second story seems like an obvious fake.
1. The incompetent perpetrator did nothing to ensure he couldn't leave, not even lock the door, had the advantage and didn't even grab him. If I was about to get someone that way, I'd definitely be blocking the exit. And yet somehow we're supposed to expect this guy
2. Was so well prepared that he and his buddies had a spike strip in the road?
3. The dude miraculously swerved and avoided it.
You can always yell which ones are fake because the writing is off.
theyre all fake lol
@@egg-iu3fe I get that vibe most of the time. But some come across as more fake than others.

Thank you so much for uploading brotha. These are the best especially the add of your "low quality” to make it sound more scary!!! 🛐❤️😇
People pls be carful on the Internet
These are the best
Do you have a podcast on spotify? Im running out of scary podcasts to listen to. Not everyone has a voice to tell scary stories and i like yours.
I love the stories but, Am I the only one that finds his voice relaxing-?
How did the guy from the first story know where the spare key was? This story is obviously fake
Probably someone they knew/someone that recognized the two in the story.
Happens more often than you’d think, as they entered in their city/immediate area.
@@iguessimacenowAnd maybe there was like info of where the key was on the computers notepad or something🤷♂️
