I have never felt as much fear as when Eric said "... he was offered Harry Potter", as much as I love Unbreakable The Last Airbender was the last straw.
+Jose Ayala Unbreakable and Sixth sense, are the only movies of his i like signs is the stupidest thing i have ever seen. Yeah aliens who can be hurt by water come to a planet 70% covered in water and which has rainfall...even if they didn't know water was dangerous to them coming there, you'd think they would have figured it out was before the end.
the other day some girls in my Math class were saying that the Last Airbender by M Night was the best movie they've seen in their life, I felt so bad during the day, I even had nightmares that night because all I could think of was, how can someone say something as cruel as this :'((
I've not seen the film but I love the honest trailer for it. You did a really great Markie Mark impression. Well done. When I saw the trailer for Unbreakable, I really wanted to see it. I don't see many films in the cinema but I wanted to see Unbreakable there. So I did. I ended up going on my own after some errands. I really didn't like it. I very much wanted to and maybe I would now, but I didn't then and it bums me out. Sixth Sense was spoiled for me but I have a terrible memory and when I saw it a year later, I was, like, WHOA...oh wait, Todd told me this. The Village was obvious going in and that is where I gave up on M. Night Shamalamadingdong. But I can seriously watch the honest trailer anytime.
The Visit is a nice turnaround for Shamalama-ding-dong. We're not back to Unbreakable level movies (wordplay), but it's a pretty great found-footage horror-comedy.
sixth sense was fantastic. Unbreakable was a little odd, but definetly had an appeal to it and I think it nailed its vision. Everything else from M. Night has been varying degrees of shit.
On my TV the description was Mark Wahlburg trying to figure out how to beat an unstoppable invisible Killer, Was expecting an Invisible man that kills people, like a more murder Hollow Man, then I got Rustling fckn leaves
My theory about M. Night Shyamalan is that the good movies he put out initially were good because he tried to please other people and be successful. Then, once he was a success, he thought to himself, "Now I'll show the people the kinds of movies I've always dreamed of making but the studios wouldn't allow! I will revolutionize show business! I'll take risks! I'll think outside the box! I'll show everyone how it's done!" With the reputation he earned from 6th Sense, he was given free reign to do whatever he wanted to do no matter how stupid it was. And so of course he sucked. It's kind of like when you see a group of musicians come out of nowhere with an incredible hit only it turns out that the hit is very atypical compared to their other music. Maybe their hit is happy, jolly, cheerful bubblegum pop and their normal music is emo-death-metal-accordion music. Once they are successful they have enough influence with the music studio to come out with album after album of the kind of music they really like to play which NOBODY ON THE PLANET WANTS TO LISTEN TO. So basically the sucky movies are the real, authentic Shyamalan experience and the good movies come from when he did as he was told and listened to other people.
The thing I like about his films, is that he does it HIS way. He doesn't try to emulate anyone. Airbender was BAD!!! He should just stick to his genre of work, which to me is (what would real people do is they were put into this situation) it's kind of fresh to see someone being unique.
I think the evil that you can't see, that is all around us and the least suspected thing, is quite a clever concept. But pollen that affect the human brain into committing suicide? Let's hope the guy won't get put in charge of a The Last of Us movie.
Signs is such a bad movie that I keep thinking back to where Eric said he thought someone was messing with him when watching The Happening, making me think that they were messing with us by saying it was good.
wait, isnt that the movie where everyone starts killing themselves for no reason? I was SO scared of that movie when I was a kid, like SO scared, it was terrefying to me to see a guy just decide to kill himselve with a lawnmower... now that I think about I have seen so many tv shows, movies and anime with way more horrifying things in it and not budge.... I just got over one of the things I most feared... huh... ok
It's opinion based. After earth is crap but I can ignore it because I don't care about it. But I'm a huge fan of Avatar (the series) and I can't just ignore the last airbender. In my opinion TLA is far worse because it has a good source and Atfer earth is just crap.
The Happening's plot was completely ripped off from an episode of Red Dwarf where the hapless crew were almost driven to suicide by a psychic fish. It's hilarious, really.
I went to see this in the theater and was so fucking pissed at how shitty this is. Now whenever someone asks me if I know what happens in any movie I say "the plants did it!". M Night Shamalamadingdong needs to retire.
I still think the Happening is his worst movie as far as acting, dialogue, and plot; with last airbender being his most hated due to the loud and fanatic fanbase
Even if I ignore the source (and stop fanboying) TLA is a shitty movie. The actors are crap, the story is crap (because you don't get it) the green screen effects are crap. I don't remember anything good about this movie. But it's hard to say which is worse TLA, after earth or the happening
Here is the button to 'cut it short' for everyone 5:47
God bless u
You must have known it was coming, but react to the Last Airbender Honest Trailer! Love your reactions to these.
I have never felt as much fear as when Eric said "... he was offered Harry Potter", as much as I love Unbreakable The Last Airbender was the last straw.

I actually didn't hate The Happening as well, because I saw it as a comedy. I laughed way too much that I was actually entertained :)
The Visit is a nice turnaround for Shamalama-ding-dong. We're not back to Unbreakable level movies (wordplay), but it's a pretty great found-footage horror-comedy.
Wait! This was supposed to be a horror!?! I thought it was a spoof, like Scary Movie. It was hilariously bad!
sixth sense was fantastic. Unbreakable was a little odd, but definetly had an appeal to it and I think it nailed its vision. Everything else from M. Night has been varying degrees of shit.
Great podcast, guys.
Oh wait, this is a REACTION!
On my TV the description was Mark Wahlburg trying to figure out how to beat an unstoppable invisible Killer, Was expecting an Invisible man that kills people, like a more murder Hollow Man, then I got Rustling fckn leaves
This made it funny but it creeped me out. I was afraid of trees and grass and shrubs and bushes etc. for a while

+Gewgulkan Suhckitt so you're saying he's George Lucas 2.0?
cinema sins would of sin the fact that you guys waited till the 5 minute part to get to the video. BTW react to cinema sins!!:-D
Good job inc. 5:55 minute mark to be exact...lol
The scary part is that no matter where you go it can still get you. Well if you have alot of people with you
my top 3 M.Night shamalamalan (whatever) is : Unbreakable, Signs and Wayward freaking Pines! :D
The thing I like about his films, is that he does it HIS way. He doesn't try to emulate anyone. Airbender was BAD!!! He should just stick to his genre of work, which to me is (what would real people do is they were put into this situation) it's kind of fresh to see someone being unique.

Took bit too long to get to the reaction tbh
For some reason, I always get The Happening and The Mist confused.
Signs is such a bad movie that I keep thinking back to where Eric said he thought someone was messing with him when watching The Happening, making me think that they were messing with us by saying it was good.
Oh well if the SOUNDTRACK was nominated then the film must be good...
wait, isnt that the movie where everyone starts killing themselves for no reason? I was SO scared of that movie when I was a kid, like SO scared, it was terrefying to me to see a guy just decide to kill himselve with a lawnmower... now that I think about I have seen so many tv shows, movies and anime with way more horrifying things in it and not budge.... This is just a higher budget Birdemic as far as I'm concerned.
Cut it short? That could have happened 5 minutes ago. Love the reaction video anyways!
"Shane were gonna cut this short"
after talking for 5 mins lol ok:P
After Earth is considered to be even worse than The Last Airbender
It's opinion based. After earth is crap but I can ignore it because I don't care about it. But I'm a huge fan of Avatar (the series) and I can't just ignore the last airbender. In my opinion TLA is far worse because it has a good source and Atfer earth is just crap.
i liked after earth tbh
He was offered Harry Potter? Omg that would have been terrible!!
Watch Peter Pan next lol
If it take you so long to get to the goods people just drop off like flies as you guys say when it's over
To those who want to watch the video click 6:00.
The Happening's plot was completely ripped off from an episode of Red Dwarf where the hapless crew were almost driven to suicide by a psychic fish. It's hilarious, really.
Dragonball Evolution was his WORST BY FUCKING FAR
wait until you see the last airbender ugh
It's not plants...
The beginning was so long I forgot it was an Honest Trailer reaction....
I went to see this in the theater and was so fucking pissed at how shitty this is. Now whenever someone asks me if I know what happens in any movie I say "the plants did it!". M Night Shamalamadingdong needs to retire.
What...? No...
What? Nooo...
I still think the Happening is his worst movie as far as acting, dialogue, and plot; with last airbender being his most hated due to the loud and fanatic fanbase
