I’ve just began getting into scrap quilts which is so fun! I keep all my scraps colour coded in my studio and this is a great way to work through them. My favourite method so far is sewing together random pieces, cutting them up and sewing again. It makes everything look way more complicated than it is, which is great! And there’s no pressure. Bonus!

I loved this. I don’t think a quilt always has to be matchy matchy. I love scrappy unusual quilts. They are fun to look at. It’s discovery when you look at it.
I miss Mary too! I have a question though because she says to pre-wash your fabrics but it looks like she was using many charms squares and I don’t think you can pre-wash those can you?

You're not supposed to prewash pre-cuts, so.... ??? Maybe use a lingerie bag and wash on gentle and cold?
