Oatmeal Carrot Cake | How to Make a Healthy Cake
Ingredients for this delicious and healthy carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.
For the batter
1.5 cups (150 g) oat flour or ground oats
1 cup (90 g) oat flakes
1 tsp (5 g) baking powder
1 tsp (5 g) baking soda
1/4 tsp (1.5 g) salt
2 tsp (5 g) cinnamon
2 cups (200 g) grated carrots
2 eggs
1/2 cup (170 g) honey
1/2 cup (120 g) melted butter
1 cup (280 g) greek yogurt
1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla extract
1/2 cup (70 g) chopped walnuts
For the cheese frosting:
1/2 cup (100 g) cream cheese
2 tbsp (45 g) honey
3 tbsp (45 ml) orange juice
You can also serve this cake with honey or chocolate sauce.
