I'm just grateful since I was able to get a tempered glass for my oppo A54. Some days ago, my phone was crushed from the left middle edge by some mysterious weight at our electrical lab, but it seems like just the tempered glass has shattered and no harm to the phone screen.
needed a new screen protector(new phone), so usefull to see a full revieuw/comparison without direct affiliation due to for example it being a shop selling those.
I like tempered glass, but it's a pain for curve edges devices. Hydrogel for curve edges devices. For flat screen devices, I buy a good tempered glass, then a layer of matte hydrogel to cut out reflections.
Smooth, not too thin, TPE film is my favorite. I can't stand the gummy feel of the TPU (or "Hydrogel") ones, and the tempered glass ones feel too thick, never-mind almost every one i've seen is cracked because they provide no shock protection at all.
tempered glass is neat & smooth but it's reflective and smudges. and if you drop it from a height or bumb it on the front accidentally (obv) then it can get cracked. hydrogel is matte and the permanent scratches situation isn't a super likely case unless you let your cat scratch over it. but some of your points is right, the size should fit your phone and if there's excess or wasn't fit right the side will peel up and it's a PITA coming from experience :/
That's what Tempered Glasses do, they absorb the shock when dropped so that why they crack. You should be thankful if it cracked because it only means it successfully protected your LCD to be broken. 😂
Excellent video and very informative. Could you clarify though, what type of screen protector in your opinion would be best for improving outdoor visibility in sunlight?
Having an oleophobic coated tempered glass (GOR is one of best brand with reasonable price) and a case that have a higher edge than the screen for protection is a best match. I rarely broke my screen protector with this combo.
I use a screen protector but I’m trying to figure out the best one. My autistic daughter communication device is an iPad. But she’s broken too many screens during meltdowns and temper tantrums and excitement. But I don’t want to give her the new used device until I try a new way better protector for screen and all around device. Thanks for sharing. I’m going with tempered glass but now researching that to get best one LOL
Oh you forgot one, it's a bit niche and waaay more expensive, it's the Liquid Glass Screen Protectors. I'm a big fan of Tempered Glass protectors, but I've been using the Hydrogel ones for a while now. I need to send my White stone back for it to be replaced. Also, I'm really big on protection, including my camera bump. The only screen protector maker that I could find that also made Tempered Glass protectors for my camera bump was the kit that sold the Hydrogel protectors. Shame right?
Eh I've never heard of Liquid Glass Screen Protectors before. Are they like a layer of resin that's cured on top of the display? Also the camera protector is a bit of a headache-y part. It's either 1. you get protection on your camera lenses but affects the camera performance or 2. go bare naked.
@@NasiLemakTech It's sadly in its name. It's a liquid formula that acts as an invisible shield. I still think of them as fools gold, and sometimes probably even just a cash grab for some companies. But they do have real world results. Even Mrwhostheboss tested out not very long ago.
My S23 ultra sonic fingerprint scanner have problem with tempered glass. I also have used film but it affect display quality. Maybe it is time for me to try hydrogel.
please recommend me the best screen protector or glass for Samsung Galaxy S22 that will not disturb the fingerprint feature. I'm currently using privacy mate nano screen protector which I can't use the fingerprint feature already.
Matte screen protectors will NEVER work with under-display fingerprint scanners. You can get tempered glass or hydrogels - both will work fine. The fingerprint scanner will work better on hydrogels compared to tempered glass, though.
I always like the clear screen protectors, it's not that bad on the fingers, usually use thumbsleeves when gaming though. I do wonder if you guys do reviews for gaming tablets. Hard to find a good tablet for gaming, the Y700 from lenovo is nice, just not too many choices.
We do - but there aren't that many tablets available in the market. The only ones I can think of are the Xiaomi Pad 5 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE. Good budget tablets that can be used for work and play. th-cam.com/video/tFwNWHiGmk0/w-d-xo.html
@@NasiLemakTech Yeah that was my issue, very hard to find a good gaming Tablet. Saw an odd brand recently Plimpad P60. Great specs for such an insanely budget device. But I still feel the choices are limited to Samsung or Xiaomi.
Yeah that's the unfortunate reality. Huawei tablets are pretty unusable with GMS since many games need GMS to work properly. There are a bunch of cheap China tablets with good specs but I have no idea about the software. I've tested a few before with horrendous software and I wanted to pull my hair out when I used them. Laggy as hell.
@@NasiLemakTech Yeah, I don't even check on Huawei anymore since they don't have the Playstore and I only checked the odd brand because a few people told me it was really good, haven't bought it myself though.
I use smart devil tempered glass.it comes with tools for installation.its not expensive but i satisfied with the product.my phone fall many times and nothing happened.thanks to smart devil and ringke/xundd case.

What is tpe? Do you mean PET?
Thanks for this clear information especially with the pros and cons! 🎉

Its worst than tempered glass since it gives less protection even though it is more smooth
@@Calvin_Lim True, but it's a bit thinner and more applicable for more phone cases.

Which screen protector do you recommend hydrogel or uv 3d temperd glass or 3d temperd glass ?😅

What is your opinion on Ceramic screen protectors then besides this other 3 options?
Still glass-like isn't it?
Ceramic isn't all that better than temp glass.
It's more like tpu (and soft) but not stretchy. Found them hard to apply on curved screen as the corners lift.
Which screen protector is the best for s9 plus ? hydrogel or tempered glass ?
Curved screen, you'll have to go hydrogel
Your video informations is very important.. thanks
Many many thanks! Glad it can help!

Oh yes.. I was waiting for another video like this.
i usually put 2 type screen protector on my phone😂...firstly i installed tempered glass and put hydrogel on top of the tempered glass

Me literally watching the stylus comparison in 480p. (I can't tell the diff.) Heh heh!

Plastic?
I hate hydrogel protectors.

Why?
Cheap, easily replaceble and easily available. Less painful to apply on curve edges devices.
