This was great, I've been looking for "how to increase your confidence" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Ganatad Confidence carborundum - (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? Particularly for me, the idea of "seeing myself as who I want to become" and at the same time "trying to be myself" seems contradictory. That causes me dissonance. Which do I express, the future person or the present person?
From my practice, I prefer to embrace who I am and work to develop the qualities that I wish to manifest, always keeping in mind that "that person is creating themselves", but is not there yet... Therefore, I also embrace what is in this "I don't like her and I accept it as part of the journey" moment.

Visualisation is not copying but having a visual experience in your brain by putting yourself in a situation. For example going for a job interview, the way you radiate with confidence and clearly seeing yourself answer all the questions confidently.
