That mummy is a power ranger figure called king sphinx :) love the videos and your energy! the nostalgia all your toys bring me brighten my day! Plus it's always cool to see what I missed out on when I was younger too!
Hi Laura! Looking lovely as always! Missed you for awhile. Very good to see you out and about on another toy and collectible hunt. I hope that all is well with you and yours my lovely friend. Have a wonderful week, stay beautiful and safe. Lots of love to u and the furry pals.
As a literal professional junker, I'm really impressed by the variety and selection of a place that's only been around since September. Though I suspect that it being new (and opening during the pandemic) has kept it from being too picked over. Always love it when a collectibles shop can coexist with a junk shop!
16:44 when your dad is laughing wow that was pure gold, favorite moment in a video in a long time! Really nice video, the shop looked great and the owner and the dog seems really kind !
That was the mutating Splinter, the Transformers were G1 Skullsmasher (Headmaster alligator) and G1 Six Changer Autobot Quickswitch and the purple wolf was G1 Pretenders Carnivac (missing the outside Pretender shell), the purple & blue jet bot is either G2 or Machine Wars... I can't place it. I used to have that Yoda puppet. SO many G1 Transformers on the back shelf! That mummy thing is from Power Rangers. That Green VENOM! That Ray from Real Ghostbusters! I have that Powermaster Prime! Galvatron! That full Jabba set! So much good stuff in there. That grey wolf at 11:50 was the Pretender shell for that purple wolf Carnivac at 6:29 in the case - that purple one goes inside the white one. The Popeyes at the end LOL
Awesome finds, the LOTR box set is amazing, the Marshal Bravestarr by the Jabba playset was nice, you rarely see him with his hat and gun, Mars Attacks saucer is hard to find and um the Ronald watch ? lol he totally has the "hey kids get in the van there's happy meals" look on his face haha
Awesome little store, thanks for filming and sharing Laura. : ) My family always look forward to your new videos. Hope the weather is better there than it is here, we are currently under an Ice Storm Warning here in Northwestern Tennessee.
This is the video I've been wanting to see for quite a long time. I truly enjoy it when you go shopping with your folks. The last one you did it was so hilarious that your dad likes to collect clothes pins . That white elephant on the top shelf upfront was freaking sweet and I don't know what it's from but I liked it a lot
Holy moley. The MPC ESB Snowspeeder model....I had that same one as a kid!!!! Also, I would have picked up the 12" Star Wars figures - particularly Darth Vader; depending on the shops' price of course. Great video, thanks for taking us along!
@@LauraLegends Oh it was! As a kid with zero patience though, I slapped it together as fast as possible...glue everywhere lol. Thanks for this, I think part of the appeal of collecting generally, is the chance of awakening a bit of personal nostalgia and connection with earlier times in one's life. Like a scent that triggers memory, seeing the box on that shelf immediately brought me back to that time!
That was such good fun thank you. Also you kept all your excitement out of your voice when you asked the guy to fetch the LOTR box down but later you were clearly super excited to get it. That’s a great buyers poker face you have!
Hey there. Thanks for posting this as I had no clue they had moved from Coombs to Parksville. I have already told a friend about this place and another friend and I are planning to hit the S.O.S. and now have a 2nd place to check out in Parksville.
at 7:35 is King Sphinx from the original Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers in 1993 ! Isn't he cool ? I have an entire library room full of Egyptian artifacts and then of course my business is Power Rangers LOL. Great video, thank you for sharing with us!
The dogo was the best thing in that shop so adorable . But great little shop some great things for sale . Reminded Me I gotta do some upto date vids of my local collector shops they some epic stuff there.
I would've picked up that Doom Saucer immediately. You almost never see Mars Attacks stuff anywhere. One of the best SciFi movies of the '90s! It's got one of my favorite alien designs ever.
Man so much in that store I'd love to own :| I wish we had cool stores like that, the best I have come across was one 2nd hand store in the middle of nowhere that had 3 vintage transformers.
7:18 Bravestarr under the Stormtrooper, wonder how much that was. Pretty cool place, seemed bigger with a lot more stuff than it looked from the outside
Nice to see you getting out again toy hunting fantastic looking store, great pick ups, my favourite part was your dad burning you, then asking for fries best bit made me laugh was almost in tears.
You should come stateside and visit Bobakhan Toys in Everett, WA as well as the Antique Pavilion in Edmonds, WA. If you like stores like this, you will NOT be disappointed. Should only be a 1.5-2 hr drive for you maybe.
That Egyptian mummy esque creature is an early Power Ranger bad guy. Also at 8:40 theres a blue version of M. Bison gi Joe figure. Not seen that before. At 10:00 remember Warriors of Virtue?
So many collectible cards and other cool toys...would love to see more of their diecast cars...pretty cool finds and picks especially the Lord of the Rings...thanks for bringing us virtually with you in that shop...
Ok, done watching. Spotted quite a few interesting items. First, there was a transforming Master Splinter toy on the table at 6:13. Those toys are fun. Sad I never got those figures. Speaking of transforming, I saw quite a few vintage G1 Transformers there! There's a G1 Galvatron and a Powermaster Optimus Prime. A complete set of PM Optimus goes for over $500 on ebay as I recall. Also, you were looking at those Gargoyles pogs. Are you a fan of the series? Maybe I'm thinking of someone else.
I loved the Wonder Woman I believe it was cups or water bottles near the beginning, I am a Wonder Woman nut. But cool shop, where I live everything is on ebay so no cool shops like this. Great video girl thanks for taking us along.
11:33 , OH WOW-that figure in the back for $9.99 although is incomplete is from the Visionaries line in the 80's: Knights of the Magical Light. His name is Reekon and was a figure that came with a giant playset called the Dagger Assault Vehicle. Although incomplete,(missing his sword and helmet), but if he has his hologram chest piece in and still works he's still easily worth $60-70(super rare figure in that line). A complete one goes for $150-175 depending on condition.
That mummy is a power ranger figure called king sphinx :) love the videos and your energy! the nostalgia all your toys bring me brighten my day! Plus it's always cool to see what I missed out on when I was younger too!
I could spend hours in shops like this. So much cool stuff and toys I had as a kid!
Totally envious wish there were a store like this in newzealand
Mummies Alive!? Yes! My favorite thing about this channel is how it reminds me of old cartoons I used to watch, but have completely forgotten about.
Also Dad being a Dad is perfect. Lovely wholesome stuff!
eBay prices at thrift stores bothers me. Seems a common thing these days. Great video as usual Laura 😊
And it's typically based on asking prices, not sold prices.
The best part is, I have never been there. But we all know exactly what it smells like. That vintage in the air
Hi Laura! Looking lovely as always! Missed you for awhile. Very good to see you out and about on another toy and collectible hunt. I hope that all is well with you and yours my lovely friend. Have a wonderful week, stay beautiful and safe. Lots of love to u and the furry pals.
You're so bubbly and fun. It's always so fun to go along with you.

I love Parksville!! My Father-In-Law was raised there. Great little shop.
16:44 when your dad is laughing wow that was pure gold, favorite moment in a video in a long time! Really nice video, the shop looked great and the owner and the dog seems really kind !
Awesome little store - walk throughs of gems like that are great since you never know what you will find!

That box set is a sick find! Love this candid collecting adventure with the fam. You do not see many TH-camrs do that. So cool and hello Legends Clan!
Love the video. Nothing like a day out with the fam searching for collectibles.
What a great, quirky independent little shop! & a doggo to play with while you browse! 😁🐕🦺
dudeeeee....i love that Ronald McDonald watch!!!!
I like it just because of how creepy Ronald looks on the package.
The mummy figure was King Sphinx from Power Rangers, one of the earliest monsters fought in the show.
Nice vintage Transformers figures there.
BTW, that LOTR set is helluva steal!
Awesome finds, the LOTR box set is amazing, the Marshal Bravestarr by the Jabba playset was nice, you rarely see him with his hat and gun, Mars Attacks saucer is hard to find

I got a kick of how your dad laughs at your concept of time. "A year! LOL!"
Hey there. Thanks for posting this as I had no clue they had moved from Coombs to Parksville. I have already told a friend about this place and another friend and I are planning to hit the S.O.S. and now have a 2nd place to check out in Parksville.

Your dad laughing and your reaction was priceless. Lol

Laura legends is the gem
Your dad is awesome! Made me laugh when he was busting your chops about your wait time of a year.
Great Finds!!!!

Hi Laura! Nice Grabs. I would have snagged that vintage Chewbacca sticker that I saw for sure. Have a good one!👍
I love supportive parents.
Did they really have a framed photo of Cameron from Ferris Bueller's Day Off? LOL WANT!
Laura looking at the deer: "You got a perty mouth!"
I was like seriously hoping you'd nab that LOTR box set of figures and YOU DID! Fuck yeah lol
Popeye's is amazing ! I have it all the time here in California, El pollo loco is also good too :)
LOVE & SUPPORT FROM CHICAGO FOR ALL YOUR TRUCKERS AYE!!!
The pokemon and magic cards are awesome but that Baby Sinclair and Jar Jar Binks would have came home with me. Awesome LOTR pick up!
Not the Mama!! Not The Mama!!!
I used to have a decent amount of Pogs in the 90's. I wish I'd kept them.
Ah those were fun haha
@@LauraLegends Agreed 🙂
The mouth of Sauron is really cool! Bruce Spence was great as that character in Return of the King. Too bad it was only in the extended version.
I still have 2 mummies alive figs, totally forgot about inhumanoids, they were cool.
Good finds. Saw a couple of things I have in there. The Spawn figure and that Deadpool Q-Fig that I think you could only get from Loot Crate.
I loved the Wonder Woman I believe it was cups or water bottles near the beginning, I am a Wonder Woman nut. But cool shop, where I live everything is on ebay so no cool shops like this. Great video girl thanks for taking us along.
That was a cool Jar Jar Binks @9:00 says no one ever. 😄
All those comics... I would've spent hours just flipping through those back issues.
