Kids around here will never know the drama and the mystique of the Toys r Us days. No Walmarts. No Amazon. You wanted a toy or a video game, that was the place. If it ever comes back to the area, I doubt it will get the love it had.

Speaking of NECA, can’t believe you didn’t look at the Griff Tannen figure with his Pit Bull hoverboard! Also didn’t seem like they had any of the TMNT figures other than Fugitoid (on the shelf with the Almond Milk 😆). No sign of the TMNT/Universal Monsters line and I wonder if TRU gets only the Target NECA TMNT figures and Walmart up there gets the TMNT movie figures like here in the States. Cherish those TRU toy runs Laura! 😁

I always felt reaction was a rip off cuz they do even less than the toys they are supposed to be referencing. They don’t even look great with vintage toys either. Its like they want you to pretend they no longer exist and this is your only option lol. Plus they lied about that xeno i bought having glow in the dark features. First and only reaction i ever bought.
Tip: Sometimes you have a hard time showing figures in their blister packs. You can get a polarizing filter, rotate the filter, and get it to a point that you see less reflection. I use it on pictures of water/lakes, and it reduces reflection on water. You can easily find them for cameras, and sometimes there are phone versions too.
Was just in the ToyRus in Calgary today. The Jurassic section is a whole Isle. MOTU has been shrunk down to a tiny corner. Same with G.I. Joe and Transformers. It's all Starwars, Marvel, DC Mcfarlane and Jurassic.
Hope they don’t still make em sell those credit cards to not get fired. Might just been an issue here but they were not doing right by their employees b4 they got shut down.

Good stuff there. Still don't have any of those Legacy sets. I had a Hammond Ceratosaurus, but it was faulty, the tail was really loose, could not be posed. Sadly it was sold out, so i am looking for one now. Nice plastic animals there, but "where's the goat?"

With the more expensive Hot Wheels there are Jurassic Park ones. There are also regular price Jurassic Park Matchbox. The more expensive ones are based on individual dinosaurs. The regular priced Matchbox are based on vehicles from the movie.

I wanted a JP T'REX for soo long to complete my collection. When I saw the Hammond Coll. one. That was it. I waited to get it on sale..TODAY! Target had a deal! Apparently, in Edmonton, it’s 2022 at Toy’s R Us. There is actually stock in stores(for Classified).
