I enjoy following you on your Great Quests. Seeking to discover new and under appreciated treasure is a noble endeavour. Do not be discouraged by less successful hunts. Observing your methodology is always enlightening. Your legend grows as the adventures unfold. 😎
I enjoyed spending digital time with you. Your shopping excursions are like being able to hang out with you when we really can't. The second part season 1 of "primal" is out on adult swim. Hope you enjoyed the first part. Seeing you eat an talk while in the car, priceless
Just wanted to say I enjoy these little blogs. I don't mind if you don't hit the jackpot or anything, I think it's fun to be along for the ride. Also, it cracked me up when you caught yourself saying you had great stuff lined up, lol! I do things like that all the time and the have the same reaction, "Nope, I don't have anything in actuality!" Hahaha
Hi from the UK, I recently discovered your channel, have been binge watching as since after Christmas, they bring me so much nostalgic memories seeing toys I had as a kid in the 80’s/90’s, some I even forgot I had & a chance to see many I wanted but never got, as well as new stuff too, Thank you. (Especially since in the UK we went back into lockdown in dec, means many stores except for food & essentials are shut, so it’s nice to see some toy shops/thrift stores etc from Canada )
I really actually enjoyed your trips to certain stores. EB Games and TRU and then stores Exclusive to your area. Awesome video please keep them coming Laura
You don't have to score big to have a excellent video Laura. You have stores that are very awesome and not here in the states. I've never been to Canada would like to go someday
I love your treasure hunting videos! I do enjoy the toy review and history videos as well. Far as anime, I have been watching lately is Samurai Jack, Ninja Scroll, and Castlevania. The Salvation Army, Value Village, and Goodwill over the years have adopted a retail store mentality. Thus it is hit and miss to find those gems. Thanks for taking me on your adventures and sharing your hauls.
I enjoy your hunts , you being in Canada gives me a different veiw of what you have there and I watch a lot of toy hunters and it seems like everyone's struggling find new stuff . Keep it up we enjoy ! thanks
I think it's good to keep these videos going as it's kinda nice to live vicariously through these and to keep up to date with what's hitting stores. As someone currently under lockdown its nice to see a toy hunt every now and then
I actually love seeing videos of people going figures/collectible shopping. Here in the US, there are no more Toys R Us stores and around where I live there are barely any toy or collectible stores. I miss them.
I actually love these shopping videos especially in this time of pandemic because I don’t get to go out to these stores anymore. And in the US we don’t have TRU anymore so it’s always nostalgic to see those shelves.
Hi Laura, big fan of your videos. Speaking as a UK viewer I really appreciate the shop visit videos you do. Its always fun seeing places we don't have in the UK and all the cool stuff for sale. I've also been really encouraged by the way you try and get stuff at good prices, thats how I like to collect and its nice to know i'm not the only person who patiently searches for a bargain
I really enjoy watching you on the hunt Laura, it’s fine even if you don’t find anything too epic. Being that you’re in Canada and I’m in the U.S it’s also fun to see what different things you guys have up there. Only thing that would have made the video better would have been seeing Muffin!
thank you so much for the feedback! You guys have so much cool stuff there so I feel like these vids lack so much substance haha -- and yes Muffin makes everything better! 😹
I can't get over toys r us shut down here in U.S. and you still have them in Canada.. I miss toys r us. But yes keep doing these vids for those of us in other parts of the world. It's cool to see what you find over what we have here in U.S.
Had to comment Laura cause you said you don't think we like these toy hunting videos. I love them cause I also do that & I am from Australia & see so many cool toys in your videos that I was unaware of when you pan the shelves. I always think that's going on my wishlist oh & that & that & that. Love your videos Laura, All of them. Stay Legendary!
I actually really like these videos regardless of whether or not you find a lot of stuff, because they're fun to watch and the cases are so bad where I live that I can't really leave the house and I like living vicariously through you and your toy hunts 😂
I enjoy these videos because I get to live vicariously through you since I don’t go toy hunting much anymore with the pandemic as well as getting to see a Toys R Us again
I really enjoy these videos. The Canadian EB Games has a lot more toy/collectible product than most of the Gamestop stores I've seen down here in the U.S. Going to Toys R Us was a big part of my normal routine and I was super bummed when they went out of business here and I really miss that place. It's always fun and nostalgic to be able to see them stocked up and doing business as usual through your videos, since I can't go there anymore myself. I don't usually go to thrift stores myself, but they have some interesting stuff sometimes and those little McDonald's items and that big Hasbro Jurassic World Dimorphodon figure were some pretty cool pickups. I say keep doing these.
Those Alien Madballs are cool, I picked up the facehugger one not too long ago. I agree, the vintage ones are hard to find, I can say I don't think I've ever seen one in the wild and I've picked up some big collections.
"Do you guys have Salvation Army in the U.S.?" LOL. Yes, we do Laura. Also that Alien xenomorph mad ball was cool. Easily my favorite out that haul. Honestly whether you score big or small, it doesn't matter. I think the majority of us (U.S.A.) appreciate/enjoy seeing how its different in Canada when you go out and thrift/toy hunt. Not everything has to be epic, because that's what hunting is all about. You land something good or you land something not great. Its also what makes it fun.
I love to follow you on your adventures, you not always finding things just makes it more real. Just like us collectors when we go out and not find anything is part of the hunt so keep it up. You’re funny, witty and Hot. Lol You rock!
JP amber collection figures & the Xenomorph mad ball are my fav pick ups you got. i personally enjoy your hunt videos & would continue watching them if you continued making them
I like watching hunt videos now more than I used to. Starting watching more hunt videos on other channels. For me, in the UK we are in full blown lockdown so I can't go anywhere to look. So its fun watching other people. The Alien figures were pretty cool in the hunt!
I like watching your ride along videos it's like exploring Canadian shopping from my bed here in Southern California haha. That Taun Taun Star Wars sleeping bag was pretty cool at EB Games.
Your so lucky you guys have Toys R Us stores up Canada still. I have so many great memories going when I was a kid and then later in life me and my wife taking our son all the time especially the last weeks before they closed. I know there's Walmart and Target but their selections for collectible figs where I live here in So Cal are so sparse. You don't get the same ambiance of toy shopping like you in a store full of toys like TRU or even Kaybees that closed over a decade ago. I guess I'll just hav to travel to Canada eventually to see another one, but until then, please Laura make more videos of Toys R Us excursions!!
The beat of the music took me back for minute to the 80s as a kid watching Knight Rider, MacGyver, American Ninja Bloodsport LOL 80s anime fist of the North, Akira, vampire Hunter, awesome channel keep it up!
It's hard to find "legendary" toys every time you shop I just watch to see what cool items you find and that I should be on the look out for. Animes to watch, I'm really enjoying Overlord and That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime are two of my favorites right now.
The Salvation Army started in the UK, the HQ is opposite St. Paul's Cathedral in London 🙂 And yes, we have lots of nice Sally Army charity shops in the UK (and North Wales where I am)
It was cool to see a brief pause at the LEGO display that my partner and I built outside Curious Comics! We built the custom LEGO Pokemon scene, the Nintendo Gameboy and Tetris for our LEGO club called MILUG (Mid Island LEGO Users Group). Sorry to hear you didn't find the LEGO you were looking for at Toys R Us. It's tough to find sets these days!
@@LauraLegends thanks! It was really fun building the Pokemon characters as it's always a challenge building curves with square bricks! MILUG is one of about 400 adult LEGO clubs globally, and one of 14 in Canada (called LUGs - LEGO User Groups) recognized by The LEGO Group.
Love the 80's retro music in the background & I would have loved getting that Gizmo Duck figure as a kid, he was my favorite Duck Tales character! Still wouldn't mind getting it though ;) =)
Count yourself lucky, Laura, here in Québec, we are in lockdown, all non-essential stores are closed including TRU, EBgames and the toy sections at Walmarts!!! I had to go to Ottawa to find Walmarts with every sections still open! 😠 And it's going to be like that for a month!!! If the covid cases drop down dramaticaly, stores might reopen again... and to add to it, stores close at 7:30 and there's now a curfew from 8 to 5am!!! So here we are stuck like this for a month.... booooo! But still, thanks for the video, Laura!

I personally love seeing the wild pricing that Canadian thrift stores like to implement. I don't think people really expect every thrift videoto have a holy grail find, so I think you're good.
I would love if you continue your thrift...toys r us..e b games hunt vlogs....we all don't always find that special 💎...but it's because of that feel that makes us continue to hunt...hunt away🤙👍
I have about 6 Goodwill stores in my general area here in Ohio. 30 minute drives for the farthest ones. I have 1 that is right down my road, and another maybe 8 minutes away. I always look for the zip lock bags stuffed with various toys. There's always something good and random in them. Also, your tip to look in the bedding section of thrift stores was very smart. A few years ago, I found an old WWF comforter from about 1990. It was still in good shape, and was only $4.00.
Keep these videos coming! I enjoy watching these. Love to see what other people are finding in other places of the world. Maybe travel to some new places for a fresh find?
I used to have that heavy rubber garfield.all 3 of those for 2 bucks was a decent deal.i started making stop motion videos with random stuff and even started a TH-cam channel to upload more as I do them and other videos.

You are so right about value village. I had one here in the US a couple of blocks from me. I used to comment loudly in the store "You guys realize you get this stuff for free right? " . The prices were like buying brand new. I'm so glad they went out of business here.
@@LauraLegends have you heard the 2 person group night club ?it totally sounds like that.their really good.i saw them live 2 years ago.they are amazing
At least you've got Dennis Neadry and the Dilophosaurus available to you. All I've seen here in California is the Velociraptors: Echo & Delta for the Amber Series. I did manage to find the Target Exclusive Rogue and the new WWE Ultimate Elite "Fiend".
I enjoy these vids. Its nice to see what the Canadians have on their shelves. Maybe you could do some vids about your childhood toys or favourite toys you didnt get. I always wanted a Mister Frosty.
Lol, yeah, people do throw wierd looks when filming toys. It's a deep love though, no different than any other hobby. I love this channel because it's obvious you feel the same and aren't doing this for notoriety and views. That, and you film TRU, and OMG I miss TRU!!! Thanks for being awesome, LL! 💙
Frankly I find it amazingly nostalgic just to see you in a Toys R Us or an EB Games being from the U.S. where these stores no longer exist. :( I miss these kind of shopping opportunities...
Please keep doing the toy hunt videos for a bit longer! We're back in full lockdown in the UK, so it's been lovely to watch these videos and feel like we're escaping for a bit (sad as that sounds!). Also, we haven't had a Toys R Us for a few years now, so we love watching you visit yours.
There once was a Goodwill store in my neighborhood I used to peruse once in a while. That is until a militant faction of the Salvation Army store also in my neighborhood raided and over-ran them. Anime wise all I can think of is Robotech, Appleseed, Akira, and Spirited Away. While not anime ULTRAMAN was fun when I was a kid.
Please don't stop making these videos. By watching these I see items I never knew were available and have bought them. For example Plasmane Ghostbusters My little pony I'm going to get for my niece. Please keep making them.
Hey Laura, have you seen the videos of folks doing so flipping at like Wal-Mart and Target stores? They go in and lift the bottom shelf in the toys to see if anybody has stashed some stuff underneath them. Occasionally they find some true gems from years ago. Maybe you and your bro could go shelf tipping.
@@LauraLegends I am very happy to hear it. Your very welcome. My suggestions are more light hearted types. But. I hope if you check them out you enjoy them
Sometimes people hide the good toys under the bottom shelf. I have hit some high dollar toys at retail price. I still love these videos you make. It’s hard for me to get around anymore, I am handicapped.

Keep doing the walk through videos it is fun to see what is in different areas than your own. No biggie if you don’t get the big prize every time it shows your videos are real. I think if you find things you want/like and make good videos it’s a win win
You are so right about value village. I had one here in the US a couple of blocks from me. I used to comment loudly in the store "You guys realize you get this stuff for free right? " . The prices were like buying brand new. I'm so glad they went out of business here.
jeez! I think I'm going to boycott them ... really not digging the insane prices..
I like the music in the videos.idk if it's old school darkwave synth or where it's from but it's good!
Links to the music are in my video description at the bottom! White Bat Audio!
I'm surprised you haven't seen those 2 figs down there!
@@LauraLegends Christmas hit us hard. The jigsaw puzzle section is recovering ahead of everything else. :)
I enjoy these vids. Its nice to see what the Canadians have on their shelves. Maybe you could do some vids about your childhood toys or favourite toys you didnt get. I always wanted a Mister Frosty.
Curious comics looks cool!
I've never seen Iron Maiden figurs before. 😎
You are awesome Laura !!!
🤗🥰
Lol, yeah, people do throw wierd looks when filming toys. It's a deep love though, no different than any other hobby. I love this channel because it's obvious you feel the same and aren't doing this for notoriety and views. That, and you film TRU, and OMG I miss TRU!!! Thanks for being awesome, LL! 💙
Super big fan of these Expolartion videos! Hopefully u choose to continue to do them. :) big fan of the chan chan
Frankly I find it amazingly nostalgic just to see you in a Toys R Us or an EB Games being from the U.S. where these stores no longer exist. :( I miss these kind of shopping opportunities...
Those Mr. Men and Little Miss figurines at the Salvation Army! Wantz!
Hope your haveing a very good and safe weekend Laura. I hope you muffin Dante and Odie are all keeping warm
Thanks Storm! Yes Odie is keeping is all very warm with his puppy biting lol
If i was in my local comic shop and laura legends walks in id freak out and start dry heaving and have anxiety.... Bc im a effn nerd. 😊🤪😁
Love the 80's style music.
Your videos are fine, I love seeing Toys R Us ones as we no longer have them here and damn I miss them. More Toys r us video PLEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSEEEEEE
Awesome music! And please keep making these types of videos.
