The pterodactyl kite was disappointing. Even when new, it probably didn't measure up to the descriptions on the box😞. Always enjoy peeking over your shoulder as you shop. Kinda resembles a Viking berserker pillaging a peaceful thrift store. Loved the fish update.😎

That fish tank was pretty cool. Whoever sent her that Voltron looking thing that was in the tank should get some kind of award or something. Also, when she was filming in the dark I half expected a jump scare.
The paleo-nerd in me was like "I hope she snagged that" as soon as I saw you find that Glyptodon figure at the beginning lol. I thought it might have been an oversized Invicta Glyptodon (if you aren't familiar with the Invicta British Museum dinosaurs, check them out some of the cooler vintage dino toys IMO) but I've honestly never seen that one before. Nice score on the Carnegie Brachiosaurus too! I had a bunch of the Carnegie Collection as a kid but never had it. It's Spring peeper season, I hear them out in my rural neck of the woods all the time too 🙂

Kodo and Podo like the farrots from Dar in Beastmaster, also a Michael Keaton Batman fan, and his Batman has the best batmobile in my opinion. And you got incredibly lucky on getting 2 grunts from Halo 4 and Reach.

Do NOT tell me you passed on that Speak & Spell?! I was lucky enough to get one with an E.T. cartridge that expands its vocabulary so it can use words associated with that movie: SO COOL! The included poster of E.T. holding a Speak & Spell is super sweet, too!! They were sold together as a promotional for the movie when it came out. One of the best promos EVER!! And Laura you are too funny.
It has been super windy here too. I was at work the other day in the back room receiving in the grocery load off the truck, an was wishing I was home flying a kite. It was beautiful weather only to be stuck at work. I like to attach my kites to my fishing pole 25 lbs. test an fly it so when I’m done I can reel it in or let the wind pull it higher. I tried shopping for one but couldn’t Find any. wanted a big dragon or an eagle. Some clear packing tape will quick fix that. The tank looks amazing. Names: I like Mooshu an Nadamoo. Saw Nadamoo from a non dairy icecream, it was my happy word of the day. What a word, 3 x fast. Btw check out the bones section at petsmart I saw some some chew horns there that look like raptor claws but they are expensive. They will be next to the antlers.
The hand puppet us amazing. While in the store you showed a couple of masks that I probably would’ve picked up. I don’t collect masks, but I thought they looked cool.
Seems to me like you’re best find was the 1989 vhs 📼 of Batman. Such a classic movie and couldn’t agree with you more about Michael Keaton being a favorite but also the best Batman in my opinion.

Laura, I did find an old board game of The Funky Phantom, on a recent visit to an Op Shop, but it was too damaged mate, so I left it. MAN, it’s sooooo frustrating. Fifteen years ago I had no problems finding tv and film based board games. It was easy. But today? BLAH! It’s them collector shows dude. They put the word out! You did well. I’m gonna have to plan a trip to good ol Canada and soon as I get off the plane I’m going to some thrift shops mate. So don’t be in my way woman.(Ha) 👍🇦🇺❤️✌️😁🤪☮️

Was that at SOS? They have SO MUCH cool stuff there. When I visit my parents in Parksville, I always stop by. I've found some really great books, toys and games at SOS.
Over several years as a child I managed to get my parents to buy me the whole Carnegie Collection including that awesome Brachiosaurus. The collection was named after the Carnegie museum and there are over a dozen dinosaurs, and the appeal at the time was that they were all to scale with each other and well detailed for their times.
That broken Dinosaur would go straight back to the shop . I hate buying broken items no longer keep them if they want my money they can check the goods . But I do look over everything before buying 😱

I’ve seen that ET VHS that was on the shelf with the “GREEN” cap sell for $70 on eBay. They say it’s a “rare” one.
