I watched a few episodes years ago, but got bored. There was too much of that girl just making un-clever esacpe attempts. How many episodes focus on her? When do we get to the good part??

Rewatching this series again, and just realised how unlucky Anastasia was. Not only did Safiye Sultana present her portrait to the emperor, (royal count: 1) but, the emperor especially asked for her (royal count: 2). The Ottomans came to take her (royal count: 3) And when she escaped, Alexander saved her. Which (spoiler alert) is the son of Safiye Sultana aka the current emperor, Ahmet's uncle. (Royal count: 4) Also, Alexander's real name is Shehzade Yahya. He does not know he's a prince.
Mustafa’s mother should have considered this a blessing but she still plotted against Ahmet. It’s a pity, her actions caused so many issues for his own son.
Watching this seen it takes place almost 40 years after the end of Magnificent Century, thinking that only Safiye is alive and the rest of the others (Mihrimah, Selim, Nurbanu, Murad, Mahidevran etc) have now died is so strange
I was watching kosem in Spanish but they were somethings didn't make scene to me, I'm glad I found it with English subtitles so I can see all full episodes ❤ especially the soundtrack along with the cast it's really nice

I’m glad I’m not the only one. I watch the whole Sultan Suleyman in Spanish and it was so romantic. I loved how they capture the body language expresión and the language of that era. The Kosem series in Spanish totally lost the magic, plus they made the episodes only 30 to 35 minutes. This original version with English subtitles is awesome. I’m hooked again 😂😂😂

Somehow, kosam guys paid much much attention to the set designing of the palace. Rhe intricate details are breathtakingly beautiful. Hurram palace sets were not that much royal. They used very limited locations inside the palace

While I understand the logic behind killing your younger brothers to keep them from threatening your rule, I still wouldn’t be able to trust such a man as my ruler and lord. If he cared so little for his own blood brothers, he won’t care about the people he’s in charge of.
It is for the safety of country, coz I am from Central Asia. Here in past kings didn't kill their brothers that's why there used to be permanent conflicts in a country.

I would actually guess that has more to do with the fact he hasn't been officially crowned as Sultan than the fact that she is a concubine turned sultana. I doubt Nurbanu was bowing to Murat, plus that kind of goes against a lot of religious reasoning where overall you respect and show humility to your parents who gave you life.
She tells him she was kidnapped and cries because she wants to go back to her family, and he just stands there and smiles. Yeah, I'd rather not watch this kind of "romance".
I don't find this nearly as interesting or appealing as the Sulieman/Hurrem series. I'll give it to episode 2 to see if it picks up. So far, not impressed with any of it.

My fav drama magnificent century.. I have seen all the episodes very interesting. All the characters played an excellent role in acting . Just now started to see magnificent century Kosem.. In this Sultana Handan resembles like Aybige Hatun in first magnificent century. Hope this part too interesting like part 1 .....Let's see 👍
I started this series in Spanish. The episodes are about 30 minutes. Lots of things are just lost. The translation is awful. I watched Sultan Suleyman completely in Spanish. The translation was amazing. They really used the language of that era. I was fascinated. This other one with Kosem, they tried to make the language more contemporary. In Spanish it lost the magic. I made it all the way to episode 37. When I saw the English version with 2:30 hrs I thought “this is the real deal” and it really is. I think is much better to watch with the original audio and English subtitles. I got hooked again!!! 😅
How Anastasia even managed to fell in love with sultan Ahmed???!!! Even after how they kidnapped her and forced to stay.... Maybe hundreds of years ago, such behaviour was considered to be normal. Now whenever I watch this, it just feels unfathomable. She should have never fallen in love with sultan Ahmed to begin with.

Not only did Safiye Sultana present her portrait to the emperor, (royal count: 1) but, the emperor especially asked for her (royal count: 2). The Ottomans came to take her (royal count: 3) And when she escaped, Alexander saved her. Which (spoiler alert) is the son of Safiye Sultana aka the current emperor, Ahmet's uncle. (Royal count: 4) Also, Alexander's real name is Shehzade Yahya. He does not know he's a prince.

The Kosem series in Spanish totally lost the magic, plus they made the episodes only 30 to 35 minutes. This original version with English subtitles is awesome. I’m hooked again 😂😂😂

My fav drama magnificent century.. I have seen all the episodes very interesting. All the characters played an excellent role in acting . Just now started to see magnificent century Kosem.. In this Sultana Handan resembles like Aybige Hatun in first magnificent century. Hope this part too interesting like part 1 .....Let's see 👍
I started this series in Spanish. The episodes are about 30 minutes. Lots of things are just lost. The translation is awful. I watched Sultan Suleyman completely in Spanish. The translation was amazing. They really used the language of that era. I was fascinated. This other one with Kosem, they tried to make the language more contemporary. In Spanish it lost the magic. I made it all the way to episode 37. When I saw the English version with 2:30 hrs I thought “this is the real deal” and it really is. I think is much better to watch with the original audio and English subtitles. I got hooked again!!! 😅
