@@ryanwaugh1 life is unfair . Lol we hunt animals with guns on land . It's all a joke there are no rules in this world . Make do with the best of the best 😜
@@annabanna666 I spearfish and hunt. I don’t spearfish with scuba gear on because there is no challenge to it. Hunting with a gun is a lot harder than you think and there is protocol to that too. If you hunting there should be a fair chance to all. Otherwise buy yourself an xbox set it to beginner and play all day long
Haha John Darius Delos Reyes they are Lobsters. Specifically Western Rock Lobsters, but most Australians call them Crayfish unlike the States where the term's designated for the freshwater shellfish you're familiar with :)
Your crayfish looks very docile and slow compared to Jasus Lalandii (Western cape rock lobster) that we get here around Cape Town, Its also clear that your resources are managed wat better than here in South Africa where we have to compete with poachers and corrupt government officials.
Those are lobsters. Crayfish or crawdads are fresh water and a lot smaller. WIKI: "Crayfish, also known as crawfish, crawdads, freshwater lobsters, mountain lobsters, mudbugs, or yabbies are freshwater crustaceans resembling small lobsters "
Wish our crays were so easy to catch !
With scuba gear it's like hunting in the Zoo)))
Very unfair and absolutely no challenge.

@@ryanwaugh1 it's illegal to spearfish with scuba in south Australia. Freedive or snorkelling only.

In south africa we are not allowed to dive with scuba gear to catch these guys. Snorkel only.
I wish we could tho, na actaully its kinda cheating
These crays look alot easier to catch than the ones where I live.
Same for me in new Caledonia where waters are much warmer...
Thank you for that instruction👍

Any back beach of Mornington peninsula or Phillip Island
And I’m to afraid to pick up little ones

I used to grab them with my bare hands way back then.
Lobster big!
Do they taste like lobster?
We would argue that they taste much better, they are a tad sweeter.
Ultimate Fishing interesting
Better than Maine Lobsters

Dennis in Australia, we have nicknamed them crays
The whole of Africa knows them as "crayfish" - besides, you Americans call all tortoises and turtles "turtles" , and you cant pronounce "aluminium" :)
They're called crayfish or rock lobster in Australia so, calm your panties Dennis.
