Seems like assisted turning could be a good feature for a combine. Some way of guiding the driver through a u-turn at the end to bring them back in-line with the next and avoid the fiddling to line it up. I know GPS-based systems can do this for you but having something taking values from the wheel angles might help speed up the ends of the rows.
Extremely impressive machine. It's also quite nicely styled. Probably the best looking combine on the market right now honestly and I never thought I'd be saying that about a NH.
@Grassmen When are you guys going to go back and see charles at eastern farms? Would like to see an update on his operarion. Been loving your videos lately.
"Everything on this machine is now belt driven; we have five chains on the combine." Most Irish thing ever. Joking aside, a superb presentation of one hell of a machine.
It can do 15 to25% more than the x9. Tied with claas. Clean grain in corn as well. So it's probly the best and biggest on the market. But Deere still has better tech support ect all the annoying stuff. I ran those old tr series and they schooled 9600s and case in the 90s.
I was just watching a vid on the Case AF11, and underneath the look identical. Even the screen info is identical. Was this a joint design operation? (I'm a noob when it comes to agricultural brands)
I can’t see a 50ft MacDon working in Ireland. The trollys going to be hardship to get into fields never mind the combine up overgrown narrow roads. 40’s pushing the limit and realistically 30’s the ideal 40 caused headaches. Probably looking at 6XX,XXX starting price too. First years Depreciation would pay for a TX 67 plus
Looks like everyone is going big on combines. X9, cr11 and af11 are all pretty beastly machines. And everyone looks like they are using the mac don headers as well.
I'm hopping the wires aren't made with plant based insulation... rodents would love that.. 😮.. Nice combine though in a great backdrop.. Great work folks.. stay safe 🏴
Very impressive indeed ... But all these new machines with thousands of sensors are going to be a nightmare to repair when they get older ... no matter the colour of the machine
Id love to see a manufacturer make a class 10 sized 1545. No sensors just work away. Still 1 man at 40ft but he needs to know wat es doing. Because at some stage these machines wont be worth buying due to 2nd hand value being so low.
Yes, very expensive combine, very nice. Now try to find a dealer who has someone who know the machine that can make it run in the field if problems. And also be able to get parts that are needed with in 2 weeks!!! Yes, VERY NICE!!!
They need to start thinking of how to fold headers to a more compact size somehow.. There's no way your getting that down most roads in either England or Ireland.. The answer is not cutting down ditches and trees to accomodate it..
@@TheMRSTEVEN Look at the size of the header !! What roads do you think thats going to make it down ? Its too big for a trailer here.. Thats why im saying they need to figure out folding..Jesus.!!
@@petrokemikal whys that? It would be narrower than the harvester when it's on the trailer, so if the combine can fit down the road so will the header.
Hey young fella did you ever operate a NH 1545 or a Super Bizon That is where you might need some skills Your average 13 yr old computer literate kid would fly that machine You need to give it to the Jackson brothers in Australia for a real test and machine would get max output on a field like a carpet Or the Millennial Farmer if you could get him away from the green or Finnegan’s farm It’s a beautiful machine, and you are doing a fine job of Demonstrating it ,but it’s more designed for Nth American or Australian 1000 hectare paddocks Is bigger really better??
There’s no such thing as a good combine operator? Absolutely ridiculous! I turned off just after that in disbelief and disgust! It’s like giving Hinkley point nuclear power station to a someone who’s just passed their A level physics! You need someone who knows what they’re doing. All the gizmos maybe good till it goes wrong and you’ve no idea why! There are some choice words I’d rather use but won’t! Shame on you Grassmen!
@@Grassmen I know it wasn’t meant as an offence direct from Grassmen but it would be prudent to pass onto New Holland that the vast majority of its combines will probably not be spec’d with its fully automated system and that good operators (who can run combines at 1% or less) like myself are still required to do a good job. First negative thing I’ve had to complain about with you….. Generally, I’m happy with what you guys do, so in that respect, please keep up the good work.
you missed the most important part young drivers need to get a go so they can learn high tec takes away jobs leaving a bigger shortage of skilled drivers
I've watched a lot of videos on this machine, and this is by far the most knowledgeable and fluent speaker of all of them. Fab vid.
Very knowledgeable lad on that machine! Good to see an Irish man promoting and demonstrating the yoke!😊
He knows what he's at 💪
I thought it was a chicken that showed the yoke
50 ft header? Wow. I betcha that machine is close to a million dollars.
Man, you guys at New Holland are killing it.
Brilliant. Very well explained. Great to hear a guy speak so clearly about a complicated machine. Expert.
He gave us a great insight into it 👌🏻
Its an unbelievably well thought out design explained by someone who knows the product really well
He knows the facts!

That looks the best combine I’ve ever seen and leaves a lovely swath of straw behind her

The CR and CX machine styling has stood the test of time and have always looked well.
It’s well designed!

Great review nice to see someone that really knows a piece of equipment and i can get over how nice of a crop of wheat they are running in

These FS25 graphics look insane 🔥🔥🔥
That stephen lad is brillant u know hes irish brains 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Great format of video, well shot and produced.

Incredible machine! The CR11’s speed and efficiency are next-level, but I wonder how it compares to John Deere’s top models
