Your "good" character must not be all that good. 😂 Sarah fell in love with me in just a few side quests. Never did anything that she disliked, ie. Bad deeds lol

@susinok Oh I gotcha. I didn't really see a difference with likes/disklikes. My favorite so far has been Sarah for her scientific curiosity and addicting accent. But I've also maxed out Sam and Barrett, now working on Andreja. I haven't yet fully committed to Sarah other than telling her I love her. I want to get to that that point with Andreja first and see what happens haha!
@@jookm LOL yes! I will get to all 4 of their stories with different main characters. I have not decided what to do about the NG+ feature. This first play through I think I will just stay in the same game, but I'll create a character that runs through all of NG+ if I can stand the repetition.
The real issue isn't lack of neutral/evil companions. The issue is lack of Romance-able Neutral/Evil companions. How is it almost every single member of Constellation has a 'dark past' that you can learn about but none of them retain any dark urges? "Oh, woe is me. I was a member of Crimson Fleet for 30 years and I did horrible things while there. Now? Oh now I want to save everyone in the whole galaxy. Die Pirate Scum! Oh wait... that is Jim ship, I know that guy. Die Jim! I'll tell send your wife and kids flowers."
It's only a matter of time before the modding community enables the greatest option of all

Betty with a nade launcher is beast mode. I've been rolling with her since I found her. I honestly don't even need to participate in fire fights anymore lol I can just go about looking around and looting while she releases the guns of Navarone upon everthing.

Dani (the rogue scientist who stole from her parents in revenge for them trying to push her into a certain career choice) and the smuggler, and the patriot who understands that sometimes killing is necessary, making it on a list if evil characters (even as honourable mentions) just highlights how disgustingly hollier than though the majority of companions are.
Betty can be found in random ship encounters. For me she was stranded in space on her ship called "lady luck" or something like that. Dont think time line matters. I found her ony second play through

Crazy how the only big decision that actually matters in the world locks you out of half the content of you decide wrong
Is it wrong that I still feel like the best evil companion choices are literal level 0 options: Vasco (with his shield bump) and Adoring Fan (who has innate sneak). Both have high carry weight, Vasco can be a non-companion crew member and Sdoring fan can be Companion, and BOTH will wind up getting into combat. It might take Vasco a minute to get from your ship to the tussle, but with a long range weapon or artillery he can make some crazy difference.
Neither of them care about good/evil, and AFan is happy and will to be used as weapon damage testing. Like really, unnaturally happy about it it with specific voice lines thanking you.
Ah yes, the Fan. Even if he had qualms as part of his dialogue, I suppose we could just remind him of the 430+ book anthology series he prattles on about on your life that someone will be writing - those books won't fill themselves!. He'll straighten right up. lol
I'm curious of the effect on the 10th universe going evil x10 compared to good x10, hell of a grind for anyone but would be cool to see.

Jessamine has Concealment 1. She cannot cloak like Andreja can when she crouches, but Jessamine will not set off any mines when she is stealth crouched. That really helps if you have also invested in Concealment and want a battle buddy that won't be easily detected or trip any traps.

What if you give her an armour with camouflage, will she able to become invisible when crouching?
Yes, any follower you equip "chameleon" armor too will go invisible. I put it on adoring fan and he goes invisible. I did have a glitch once with andreja where her head stayed invisible but the rest of her was visible. Loaded the game, fast traveled, slept in a bed. Nothing would fix it until i told her not to follow anymore. Went back to the lodge and my wifey was all better. I wonder what ppl thought when they saw me making love to a woman with an invisible head? Intrusive thoughts

I tested her unfortunately she doesnt like it when I kill people.
This is cool. I thought all the companions in this game were softies. I hated Mathis so i didnt get the option to have him as companion. I have introvert perk anyway. I play like a lone marauder kill everything that moves and loot. I even kill everyone at civillian outposts when i find them

If you're on pc there is a way to edit npc appearances using console commands. I gave a facelift and new hairstyle to several of my crewmates :)

@@Rysdad1 console command I used is "capp" (stands for Copy Appearance). You just need a random nameless npc nearby to make things easier.
Example for changing Sarah's appearance :
1. Select random nameless npc in console, type "capp player" (this temporarily saves your character appearance to an npc so you can copy it back to yourself later)
2. Select Sarah and make note of her ID
3. Select your player character, and type "capp xxxxx" (replace xxxxx with Sarah's ID)
4. Type "slm 2" to open the appearance editor, and edit Sarah's appearance on your character.
5. Select Sarah again, and type "capp player" (this will copy the new appearance to Sarah)
6. Select the random npc that has your original appearance, and make note of their ID
7. Select your player character and type "capp xxxxx" (replace xxxxx with the npc's ID)
8. Bonus. Select the random npc that is now your clone, type "disable", then type "enable". This will revert their appearance and save you from an attack of the clones.

I have a different one I can recruit, looks nothing like Dani and is a actually recruited in Madame Sauvage's not Euphorika (my bad), her name is Sophia Grace and she is a member of the Disciples
Funny thing is when I tested her, when I kill someone she doesn’t like it.
Need help! I didn’t rat Mathis out and found him in the bar he said “I have some stuff I gotta do then maybe when I’m done I can join your crew” when does that happen??
He is only available after the entire questline, make sure to side with the pirates.
Can they help you when raiding a ship? If so I can I get them to do it.
Good question. This is really weird because in my experience my companion goes with me 20% of the time when raiding. Other times they are just nowhere to be found. Not sure if its a bug or if it depends on the size of the ship you are raiding.

The most infuriating & VERY annoying companion is Barrat, Starfield has around 280,000 lines of dialog, Barrat has about 120,000 of them, he is constantly flapping his jaw, I booted of my ship cos he won't STFU 😡🤬😡
