I got to try these a year or two before they started showing up in the US market. I have a friend in the Netherlands who introduced me to them. My favorite chocolate bar of all time. You’re missing out if you don’t try it. Can’t recommend them enough.

Most of the major chocolate companies already state that their chocolate is Fair Trade. I thought it was just cheaper because the scale of their operation is larger than a smaller company like Tony’s.
It's OK, but not nearly as great as LACTA milk chocolate, from Greece. LACTA is in my opinion, the best tasting milk chocolate in the universe! Blows away Tony's!

Hi Jan, You are absolutely right! However, although it’s a Dutch company, Tony’s describe their product as “Belgian Milk Chocolate’” and it’s also manufactured in Belgium. That’s why we’ve classed it as Belgian chocolate. 😊
@@thetastetestchannel I understand, but it's still a bit strange to me. We have a factory in the Netherlands that makes Ben en Jerry icecream with milk from Dutch cows. But that doesn't make it a Dutch company. But hey: it's all about the chocolate :)
Ours is not to reason why 😉I guess as it’s made in Belgium to a Belgian recipe and the company states it’s Belgian chocolate on the bar, it doesn’t really matter who owns the company. But as you quite rightly say, it’s all about the chocolate! 😁
Thanks for commenting. Although the company is owned by a Dutchman, he specifically set up a factory in Belgium so he could conch and manufacture chocolate to a specific Belgian recipe for the express purpose of being able to market and sell it as Belgian chocolate. Hope that clarifies 👍😊

Yes, Toney's milk chocolate is also my new favorite, very creamy and tasty. Outstanding too with a cup of good light roast coffee :)

Got to say I was extremely disappointed. Not horrible but absolutely nothing special...and the bar shape is so annoying.
